Making The Mahindra BE6 Look Like A Lamborghini Urus Is Easy: Proof

The recently launched Mahindra BE 6 electric SUV stands out with its striking design and impressive mechanical specifications. The deliveries began in mid-March. People are now flooding platforms with content around the BE 6. Among them are automotive artists and design hobbyists trying to imagine the SUV in forms that are even more exciting. Zephyr Designz has digitally imagined a version of the BE 6 which strongly resembles the Lamborghini Urus with its design.
The video shows a digital rendering of the SUV. The ride height has been lowered. The body paint resembles the Orange colour seen on the Lamborghini Urus. However, this BE 6 gets a dual-tone colourway with the hood, roof, parts of the rear bumper, rear spoiler and side flares finished in Gloss Black. The vehicle gets a redesigned widebody kit. It gets custom front and rear bumpers with a strong focus on aerodynamics, front lip spoiler and a side skirt as well.
The Brixton Forged x Dymag Carbon+ PF10 two-piece alloy wheels are also finished in Black. These are shod with wide, Yokohama Advan Neova AD08R tyres. The brake callipers are painted Red, striking a stark contrast. The bumper gets an integrated diffuser as well. Gloss Black embellishments and garnishes can be seen in various places of design like the front fenders, side view mirrors, headlamps, tail lamps etc. Unlike the real BE 6, this digital version is a two-door SUV. You can see an air vent at where the rear door would have been.
Previously, Zephyr Designz had created another version of the BE 6 which had a Lava skin! The bodywork is finished in Black, with the panels having glowing streaks of Orange shade on them. It gives the visual impression of molten lava. This is again, a BE 6 that money can't buy!
Mahindra introduced the BE 6 in India in November 2024. The electric SUV looks modern and futuristic, almost like a concept car.
It has short overhangs, sleek LED lighting, and a unique front aero-spoiler. The car rides on large 20-inch wheels with low-resistance tyres. At first glance, the roof appears to have a coupe-like shape, but this is just a clever illusion created by the positioning of the rear spoiler.
Inside, the BE 6 continues its futuristic theme with a minimal yet stylish cabin. It is packed with features and comes with a double-D cut steering wheel with an illuminated logo, powered driver seat, rain-sensing wipers, automatic headlights, selectable driving modes, 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system with Dolby Atmos, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 360-degree camera, a heads-up display (HUD), ambient lighting, a frameless rearview mirror and a Level 2+ ADAS suite.
The BE 6 is based on Mahindra’s new EV platform called INGLO. The name stands for "Indian Global," as the platform was designed in India for global markets. It is a flexible skateboard platform that can support different vehicle sizes and body styles. Some reports suggest that parts of this high-voltage architecture are sourced from Volkswagen, though Mahindra has not officially confirmed this.
The SUV offers two battery pack options. The lower variants feature a 59 kWh battery, while the top variant comes with a larger 79 kWh battery. The smaller battery provides a range of 535 km per charge, while the bigger one extends it to 682 km.
The BE 6 has a Rear-Wheel-Drive (RWD) system with an electric motor that sits on the rear axle. This motor, sourced from Valeo, generates 280 hp and 380 Nm of torque in the top variant. The lower variant with the 59 kWh battery produces slightly less power, at 230 hp.
Mahindra offers the BE 6 in three main trims with five different variants. These include Pack ONE, Pack ONE Above, Pack TWO, Pack THREE Select, and Pack THREE.
