Bollywood Actress Disha Patani Gifts Her Dad A Brand New Toyota Innova Crysta [Video]
Indian actress Disha Patani has been quite successful in her career. She has delivered stunning performances in various popular and successful films. Now, Disha has gifted her dad a brand-new Toyota Innova Crysta. A video of the Patani family welcoming the new vehicle has now surfaced on social media.
It shows Disha's father receiving the keys to his new MPV from the dealer staff. At some point in it, we see the sentence ' A daughter's love wrapped in four wheels' written on the screen. Then we see the dad taking wraps off the vehicle, together with his wife.
He then breaks a coconut in front of the MPV, in keeping with traditional Indian customs. In Hindu culture, breaking a coconut in front of a new vehicle is considered a form of seeking blessings, prosperity and even removing the 'evil eye'. It is in a way, dedicating the newly-bought vehicle to the diety and requesting it to safeguard the car on all its journeys. Most Hindu families perform these rituals while welcoming new vehicles to their lives.
We also get to see Disha's mother perform 'Arti' on the Crysta. This again, is a religious practice followed by many in the country, on all major auspicious occasions. The entailing intention here, is to invoke blessings and auspiciousness, particularly for safety and smooth journeys. The actress is seen recording the arti on her phone. Finally, the family celebrates the purchase by having sweets...
Going by the video description and the comments, it seems like the MPV was kept a surprise. The Patani family has bought their Crysta in what looks like Platinum White Pearl. Currently, the Crysta comes in five colour options including two shades of White- Platinum White Pearl, SuperWhite, Silver Metallic, Avant Garde Bronze Metallic and Attitude Black Mica.
Toyota sells the Crysta alongside the new-generation Innova Hycross. Many continue to pick it over the Hycross. Reliability, comfort and practicality remain the core strengths of the new Crysta as well.
The outgoing Crysta comes equipped with features like an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with (wired) Apple Carplay and Android Auto, connected car features, semi-digital instrument cluster, push button start/stop, ambient lighting, foldable seat back tables, easy slide function for passenger seats, and one-touch tumble for the second row.
Furthermore, Toyota also offers a wide range of accessories which range from Tyre Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS) to wireless chargers and welcome door lamps.
Toyota has updated the safety suite as well. It now consists of seven SRS airbags, Anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brake force distribution (EBD), brake assist and more.
Like its predecessors, the 2025 Innova Crysta continues to be a diesel-only model. Under its hood is the familiar 2.4L diesel engine that produces 150 hp and 343 Nm of torque. A 5-speed manual remains the only transmission on offer. This engine-transmission combination is loved by many for its robustness.

With its ex-showroom prices falling in the range of Rs 19.99 Lakh and 26.82 Lakh, the Crysta seems to be a rather humble buy for Disha. The actress is estimated to have a net worth of around 26 crores. She also owns an impressive collection of car, many of which are customised in some way. She bought her first luxury car in 2018, and it was a Mercedes Benz S450. She has wrapped it in a shade of Matte Black.
She also owns a Land Rover Range Rover Autobiography LWB (also known to be her latest purchase), a BMW 7 series, and a Range Rover Sport HSE.
It should be noted how even celebrities choose the Crysta for themselves and their beloved families. Interestingly, this is something that the Hycross failed to achieve!
