Dog Takes Revenge On Hyundai i20 That Hit It By Scratching Bonnet [Video]

On Indian roads, it is pretty common to spot stray cattle and dogs. These stray animals often chase motorists and even cause accidents on the road. In some unfortunate incidents, these stray animals get injured or even lose their lives. However, we have come across a video of a bizarre incident from Madhya Pradesh. In this case, a dog that was hit by a Hyundai i20 hatchback decided to take revenge by scratching the bonnet of the car. The incident was captured on a CCTV camera and has gone viral on the internet since then.
The video has been shared by NDTV on their website and social media platforms. The incident happened in Madhya Pradesh’s Sagar. Prahlad Singh Ghoshi, a resident of Tirupati Puram Colony in Sagar, was actually driving with his family in his Hyundai i20 on January 18. During the trip, the car accidentally hit a dog around 500 meters away from his home.
The dog was not injured, but as the Hyundai i20 had hit him, he decided to bark and chase the car for a short distance. After chasing the car for a few hundred meters, the dog turned around and disappeared. This happened at around 2 p.m. Mr. Ghoshi and his family returned home and parked their car on the road outside their house.
The next morning, when Mr. Ghoshi came to his Hyundai i20, he noticed several scratches on the bonnet of his car. He initially suspected the children in his area. Thankfully, he had a CCTV camera installed on the road, and it captured everything. When he checked the video, he was surprised to see that it was not the children but a dog that had caused this damage to his car.
What was more surprising was the fact that it was the same dog that he had hit with his car the previous day. In this video, we see a black dog come near the Hyundai i20 hatchback, sniff around the car, and then simply scratch the bonnet using his paws. The black dog was not alone. His friend, another dog, also joined him to do maximum damage.
Dogs are extremely intelligent creatures, but this is probably the first time we have come across a report like this where a dog has decided to take revenge on a car that hit him.
Mr. Ghoshi, after watching the video, realized that it was the same dog he accidentally hit a day ago. There is no clear image of the damage that the dogs have done to the car, but reports suggest that it is easily going to cost the owner over ₹15,000.
The dogs did not harm the owner or any of the family members at all. Indian roads are filled with surprises, and it is always a good idea to expect the unexpected. We are hoping that the car hitting the dog was just an accident.
Always be alert and try to follow defensive driving techniques to avoid any kind of accidents or incidents like these. Also, we hope that the dog is done with its revenge and won’t come back again for more damage.
