Indian businessman Satish Sanpal, who lives in Dubai, is known for his expensive car collection. We have seen his splurge on multi-crore Bugattis and Rolls Royces in the past. Now, he has bought a brand-new Rolls Royce Cullinan Series II for his daughter Isabella Sanpal, on her first birthday! This seems to be the Black Badge variant, going by the available pictures and videos.
Isabella Is One Lucky Girl
A video of Satish Sanpal receiving the car from the dealer has now surfaced. The car was delivered at a star-studded birthday party organized at the Atlantis hotel. It shows the entrepreneur reaching the event with his wife and one-year-old daughter, in a Rolls Royce Phantom. After completing the paperwork, they proceed to the reveal function.
The kid is dressed in Pink and the event has a similar theme as well. The car is parked inside a box, behind pink doors with 'ISS' written on it. Soon, the doors open and the Cullinan is revealed. It is surrounded by a lot of pink balloons, and there is even a teddy bear in one corner- enough to make the kid happy.
The Cullinan is also finished in a shade of dark pink. A shade of Fuchsia can be seen on its key as well. Inside, the dual-tone colourway consists of bright Pink and Off-White. There are also touches of Fuchsia in various places.
Interestingly, this event was attended by several Bollywood celebs like Tamannaah Bhatia, Nora Fatehi, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, and Atif Aslam, along with Sanpal's friends, family and high-profile guests. This birthday event has now become the talk of the town. Even the Cullinan's delivery video has gone viral on Instagram.
A Closer Look At The Series II Cullinan Black Badge
To start with, the 'Black Badge' is the bolder and more powerful alter ego of the Series II Cullinan, Series II denotes the vehicle to be in its second generation. The vehicle comes with a colour-coded lower body and dark-themed door handles.
The Black badge costs significantly more than the standard SUV. It has a base price of AED 2,380,000 (Rs 5,63,13,203, when 1AED=Rs 23.66) in Dubai. The ex-showroom price in India is a whopping Rs 12.25 Crores, thanks to the heavy taxation! Additional customization and speccing will only add to these prices. Going by how this Indian dad has specced the SUV for his daughter, the actual price of it could be much higher!
Inside, the Series II Cullinan Black Badge gets the likes of a full-width glass panel running along the width of the dashboard, new 'Spirit of Ecstasy Clock Cabinet, and more. The infotainment system runs the latest version of the Spirit infotainment software and the all-digital driver display can be colour-matched with the exterior. So, on this specific example, the driver display likely has a Pink backdrop!
The Black Badge is powered by the same 6.75-litre twin-turbocharged V12 petrol engine that does duty on the standard SUV as well, mated to the same 8-speed transmission. It is, however, in a higher state of tune on the Black Badge and produces 600 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque. The regular Cullinan has just 570hp and 850 Nm on offer.

Satish Sanpal, the founder of ANAX Developments, is a well-known businessman in the UAE. He is often noted for his bold style and luxury lifestyle. Earlier in June, he had gifted his son Lakshya Sanpal a White Rolls Royce Cullinan Series II Black Badge SUV. He even has a Bugatti Chiron in his garage in Dubai!
