Indian Dad Gifts 18-Year-Old Son Ford Mustang Muscle Car [Video]
The love that parents have for their children sees no bounds. They try to provide their children with everything that they ask for. Recently, one such father bought his 18-year-old son a Ford Mustang sports car. Now, a video showing this father-and-son duo's Ford Mustang has been shared online. In this video, the father explains how they were about to buy a Dodge Challenger from Dubai but then changed their plans.
This video of the Ford Mustang gifted to an 18-year-old father by his son has been shared on YouTube by Mihir Galat on their channel. The vlogger starts off the video by introducing the owner of this particular Mustang. He then highlights that this particular sports car was bought by him because his son wanted it.
Journey to Buy Ford Mustang
The owner of this Mustang mentions that his son asked him to buy a sports car. He argued that they should buy a Land Rover Defender or a Range Rover. However, instead of those, he was adamant that they would get a sports car. He added that back in the day when he was young, he owned a Hyundai Sonata V6, which was heavily modified and made very sporty. However, the son stated that he now wants to enjoy a sports car.
As a result of this, they first went to Dubai to buy a Dodge Challenger. The owner explained that they even transferred the money to buy the Challenger they saw. However, a childhood friend of his, who met him in Dubai, revealed that there is a scam that can trap them into buying a salvage-title sports car. He explained that there are three specs of cars—US Spec, Canadian Spec, and GCC Spec cars.
The owner highlighted that the GCC Spec cars are generally decent. However, US and Canadian cars are generally stolen or salvage-title cars, which do not have any resale value. He added that once they bring the vehicle via carnet to India for six months, they have to return the car and sell it. The owner added that these cars do not retain any value.
For this reason, they shifted their focus towards the Ford Mustangs that were available in India. Following this, the vlogger then asked them about the details of this particular Ford Mustang they had bought. To this, the owner answered that he bought it from Fusion Cars, the same dealership that used to rent cars to popular YouTuber Elvish Yadav and others.

After this, the vlogger asked the owner to show him the Ford Mustang. He mentioned that the vehicle took them four months to get delivered, as they had opted for the Shelby GT500 body kit, updated LED headlights, and a carbon fiber steering wheel. Apart from this, he added that they were suggested a tune by the dealership. However, they did not opt for it.
Following this, the vlogger asked the owner to rev the vehicle. The son of the owner then explained that the vehicle has a Valvetronic exhaust. For those who may not be aware, Valvetronic exhausts have a flap that can be opened and closed to increase or reduce the exhaust volume. After this, he revved the car, and the vlogger was impressed.
After this, they both went for a drive, and the vlogger asked the owner about the driving experience. To this, he answered that it is very fast and the driver needs to drive it for a few days to learn how to control this rear-wheel-drive car. Following this, the vlogger asked about the price, to which the owner replied that he paid around Rs 74 lakh for this Ford Mustang.
The Ford Mustang comes powered by a 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine. Coupled with a 6-speed automatic gearbox, the engine produces a maximum power output of 400 PS and a peak torque output of 515 Nm.
