Self-Made Indian Woman Entrepreneur Buys Rolls-Royce [Video]

Pictures and videos of successful entrepreneurs buying expensive luxury cars and SUVs often go viral on social media. The latest in the line is Parvathi, a Dubai-based entrepreneur who recently purchased a Rolls-Royce Ghost Black Badge. Videos and pictures of the same have gone viral. The car in this case, is a pre-facelift model, which used to have an ex-showroom price of Rs 12.25 crores (including all options) in India back in its day. (The Series II Ghost Black Badge that launched in 2024 succeeded it here.) Parvathi has, however, bought her Rolls-Royce in Dubai.
The woman entrepreneur has shared several pictures of herself posing with the Ultra-luxury sedan in Dubai. One of them even shows them in the backdrop of Burj Khalifa, the iconic building in which she has an apartment. Her Instagram handle also has a video of her taking delivery of the car.

It starts by showing her arriving at the dealership in a swanky Mercedes-Benz G-Class. She walks in and is greeted warmly by the staff. Initially, the car is kept under a dark veil.
As she unveils it, we get our first view of the Ghost Black Badge Series I (pre-facelift model) finished in a classy shade of Red ( from the premium or bespoke palette). She then receives the keys and poses for pictures with the car. Towards the end of the video, we see the female boss driving the car out of the showroom.

If you’re already wondering, Parvathy is the founder and CEO of Amster Immigration Services, a multi-national consultancy that helps people migrate to countries like Canada, the UK, Australia, and Singapore. It has several registered offices across Kerala and the UAE.
In addition to this, Parvathi also owns the Bahrain outlet of ‘Dhe Puttu’, a restaurant brand from Kerala that specialises in 'Puttu' (and its variations), a traditional South Indian dish. This eatery is quite popular among NRI Keralites.

The car here is the pre-facelift that debuted in 2021 and remained on sale till 2024. The ‘Black Badge’ version brings more personalisation opportunities to the table. The car, in this case, has its grille and ‘Spirit of Ecstasy’ mascot finished in Dark Chrome.
In its time, the Black Badge Ghost used to come with the Signature Black paint. The carmaker offered 44,000 bespoke colours, opting for which would cost additional sums. The sedan rode on 21-inch bespoke composite alloy wheels.
Inside, the Black Badge Ghost featured Mandarin leather upholstery and black Bolivar veneer. Several classy dark-themed elements could also be found in various places of its design. The ‘Black Badge’ motif on the rear armrest, interestingly, was an optional add-on. The vehicle also came with a champagne cooler, and the rear seat had a massage function.

The pre-facelift Ghost Black Badge also came with a Shooting Star Starlight headliner, electric doors, picnic tables, lambswool floor mats, a head-up display, and driver aids such as cruise control and parking assist.
The Black Badge version borrowed the 6.75-litre twin-turbo V12 petrol engine from the standard Ghost, but had it in a higher state of tune. It was capable of producing 582 hp and 900Nm (27hp and 50Nm more than the non-Black Badge version). It even featured a bespoke throttle map.
The transmission on offer was a ZF-sourced eight-speed automatic unit. It even had a ‘Low’ mode which would make shifts faster, making the mountain of torque available at lower rpms. The Planar suspension setup too was retuned to improve dynamics without compromising on ride quality. The car also came with all-wheel steering...
