21 Year-Old Entrepreneur Gifts Himself Rs. 9 Crore Lamborghini Reveulto On Birthday
Dubai-based millionaire Raghav Shenoy needs no introduction among car enthusiasts. He often shares content with expensive (and fast) cars that many can only dream of, on his social media handles. Shenoy has now made headlines by gifting himself a brand-new Lamborghini Revuelto hybrid supercar on his 21st birthday. A video of him taking delivery of the car is now racking up views online.
The Video
Shenoy bought the Revuelto from a dealer in Dubai. The video opens by showing him arriving at the dealerships together with his friends and family. The car, finished in a striking shade of Blue, is kept under a veil. Behind it, we can also see an LED board that reads ‘Happy Birthday Raghav’. Later, we see Shenoy receive the car officially, amidst cheers from his loved ones.
He gets inside, starts the Revuelto, and lets us listen to its exciting soundtrack. The cabin has a Black-Red dual-tone theme. This spec also has Red touches at various places of its exterior design and rides on Copper-coloured wheels.
More About The Revuelto
The Revuelto is, in fact, the successor to the iconic Aventador V12. It was launched in India in December 2023. It has an ex-showroom price of Rs 8.89 crores, before options. This purchase was made in Dubai, where the Revuelto has a starting price of 2.6 million AED (roughly Rs 6.3 crores, considering 1 AED= Rs 24.16).
The Revuelto is the brand’s first-ever series-production hybrid supercar. It has a design that’s unmistakably Lamborghini. Several Y-shaped elements can be found on it. The rear has a pair of high-mounted hexagonal-shaped exhaust pipes. The car gets 20-inch wheels at the front and 21-inchers at the rear. Scissor doors bring more visual drama to the table. Unlike the Aventador, the fuselage and frame on this car are made of Carbon Fibre. This has brought about impressive weight savings.
The Y-theme continues inside the cabin as well. The Revuelto’s interior gets features like a fighter jet-style starter button, 13 drive modes, an 8.4-inch floating touchscreen, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 9.1-inch passenger-side screen. The cabin offers more headroom and legroom than the previous Aventador Ultimae. Overall comfort levels too have improved.
The Revuelto impresses with its powertrain and its capabilities. Lamborghini has chosen electrification over downsizing. This car gets a plug-in hybrid V12 petrol engine that has a combined output of 1,015hp and 807Nm. The V12 used here is the lightest and most powerful that Lamborghini has made yet. It makes 825hp and 725 Nm, and comes mated to a three-motor setup powered by a 3.8kWh Lithium-ion battery.
Two of these sit on the front axle. , while the third assists the rear wheels. The transmission offered is an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic unit. Yes, this car gets All Wheel Drive (AWD). It can do the 0-100 kph run in just 2.5 seconds and has a top speed of 350 kph. The carmaker even claims an all-electric range of 10 km.
The Most Unique Bespoke Artura!
Raghav Shenoy’s Instagram handle shows a lot of expensive and exotic cars. You can see cars like a Yellow Lamborghini, a Silver Ferrari, and several other models. The biggest highlight would, however, be a bespoke McLaren Artura which he had curated previously. Commissioned through the McLaren Special Operations (MSO) program, this could be the most unique McLaren in Dubai.
It blends Tokyo Cyan and Papaya Spark shades beautifully, amalgamating two contrasting personalities. The Artura is powered by a 3.0L twin-turbocharged V6 petrol engine that produces 671 hp. It does the 0-100 kph in just 3.0 seconds and has a top speed of 330 km/h.
