India’s First MG Cyberster Electric Sports Car Delivered: Family Surprises Birthday Boy [Video]

MG recently launched their first-ever electric sports car in the market, the Cyberster. The electric sports car has already started reaching MG Select dealerships across the country, and it looks like deliveries have also begun. Here we have a video where a customer is surprised with a brand-new MG Cyberster by his wife and kids.

The video has been shared by Ace Mediahouse on their Instagram page. In this video, it looks like there was a party arranged by the family on his birthday. It is, in fact, a grand function. It appears that the name of the customer is Vishu Gowda, and we see him speaking to the guests who were invited to the party.

After the interactions, we see Vishu’s wife taking him to the lawn area where his brand-new car was parked. The moment he saw the car, he was genuinely surprised, and the happiness is very evident on his face as well.

Then the customer, along with the family members, poses for pictures and videos and even checks out the car from the inside. After this, they continue with their birthday party. This was indeed a special gift this year. It looks like this is the first video of the Cyberster delivery available online.

The MG Cyberster is MG’s modern take on their iconic MGB Roadster model. The car gets butterfly doors, a long bonnet, a convertible roof, LED lights, 20-inch wheels, and so on. The car definitely looks like a sports car but is actually an electric vehicle.

The MG Cyberster will be offered with a 77 kWh battery pack and a dual-motor setup. Sixty percent of the power is sent to the rear wheels while the remaining forty percent is sent to the front. The MG Cyberster can do the 0–100 km/h sprint in just 3.2 seconds, and we believe MG in this claim. MG is, in fact, calling it the fastest MG in the world.

The electric sports car can generate 510 hp and 725 Nm of peak torque. Not only is it fast, but it even has a claimed driving range of about 580 km. In the real world, a customer can expect around 400 km of range, which is great for a sports car in this segment.

MG is offering features like a triple-screen setup, automatic climate control with seat ventilation, ADAS, a 360-degree camera, powered seats, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, an auto-dimming IRVM, and a premium audio system with the Cyberster.

The roof can be opened or closed within 10 seconds and can also be operated while the car is in motion at speeds of up to 50 km/h. As we already know, MG is only selling the car via MG Select dealerships across the country. The price for the MG Cyberster electric sports car is ₹75 lakh, ex-showroom.
