Force Urbania Rolls Down Hill After Driver Forgets Handbrake: Passengers Narrowly Escape [Video]

Recently, a video has gone viral online from Dalhousie, Himachal Pradesh, in which a Force Urbania MPV was seen rolling down a hill after the driver of this vehicle apparently forgot to engage the handbrake. The viral clip shows a number of tourists quickly exiting the vehicle before it stopped rolling down a gorge.
Force Urbania starts rolling back
This video showing this shocking incident has been shared on X by Nikhil Saini on their page. The clip starts with a grey-colored Force Urbania MPV rolling down in reverse on a hill. We can note that just when it started to roll down, a girl was exiting the vehicle. She was wearing a dupatta, which got stuck in the vehicle, but she immediately caught it and pulled it towards her.
Following this, we can observe that a few more girls quickly started jumping out of the vehicle. However, as the speed of the vehicle increased while rolling down, all three of these girls fell on the road. What happened next was that another girl was about to exit the vehicle and was about to jump out. However, by the time she could jump out, the vehicle had already backed into the gorge.
Thankfully, there was a tree which stopped this Force Urbania from completely falling into the gorge. However, during this stop, the girl who was at the door fell out of it. Once again, luck helped this woman in not suffering any substantial injury, as the ditch was not very deep. We can note that another girl fell into the same ditch, and there were a few more people inside the MPV.
People helped quickly
The video then shows that soon after the vehicle was stopped by the tree, a number of boys and girls rushed to help the people who fell into the gorge and were still inside the Urbania. It can be noted that all of these people were successfully rescued, and none of them suffered from any serious injuries.
What caused this incident?
As per the post, a number of locals reported that the Force Urbania driver forgot to engage the handbrake of the vehicle. Due to this, the vehicle started rolling down the hill and caused this dangerous accident. Because of this, a number of netizens have highlighted that negligence by drivers almost cost some people their lives.

The first and the biggest one is that whenever you park a vehicle on a slope, make sure that you have fully and properly engaged the handbrake. The next thing that you have to do is, if your vehicle has a manual transmission, then be sure to engage the first gear.
Next, to be extra careful, place a brick or stone behind the rear wheels to make sure it does not roll off by accident. Lastly, also make sure that the steering of your vehicle is turned towards the hill or the curb. With all of these things checked, you can be sure that the chance of your vehicle rolling back down will be very less.
