Girl Influencer Who Bought Volkswagen Golf GTI Wins BGMI-Branded Mahindra BE6 Electric SUV

India's most popular mobile game, KRAFTON’S BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India), recently collaborated with the country's largest SUV manufacturer, Mahindra Automotive. As a result of this collaboration, a very special in-game contest was held over 60 days. It was done for the promotion of the newly launched BE 6 electric SUV. Recently, it has been announced that Mia Joseph Chirakkekaran, who is also known as “Octane Girl,” has won a real brand-new Mahindra BE 6.
The specially designed Mahindra BE 6 was recently handed over to Mia Joseph Chirakkekaran after she was announced as the winner of the recently concluded in-game event. Octane Girl, or Mia, is a known automotive influencer, and she is popular for creating content around cars and motorcycles.
She was handed over the BGMI-branded Mahindra BE 6 electric SUV on 24th July. The handover of this special BE 6 took place at Mahindra Eram Motors in Thrissur, Kerala. This particular BE 6 is unique as it features a BGMI Krafton badge on the boot and passenger-side door.
It also gets in-game-inspired decals on the lower door panels, which showcase the BGMI visual elements. It also gets a custom windscreen badge as well. Other notable highlights include the “Winner Winner Chicken Dinner” tagline and the “Lone Survivor” insignia on the rear boot.
The Mahindra BE 6 is currently one of the most unique-looking electric vehicles in the market. It starts at Rs 18.90 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs 27.65 lakh (ex-showroom). It comes with a 79 kWh and a 59 kWh battery pack. The former offers a range of 682 km, and the latter offers 535 km of range.
As for the electric motor, the top-of-the-line variant gets a rear-wheel-drive electric motor, which makes 282 bhp and 380 Nm of torque. Its notable features include dual 12.3-inch displays, a fixed panoramic glass roof, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, Level 2+ ADAS, seven airbags, a 360-degree camera with a blind-spot monitoring system, auto park assist, and a selfie camera.
Just a few weeks ago, Mia, or the Octane Girl, also made headlines for another reason. She recently took delivery of her brand-new Rs 53 lakh Volkswagen Golf GTI. By doing so, she became the first woman in India to own a new Golf GTI, which is limited to only 150 units and is being brought via the CBU (Completely Built Unit) route.
Back when she turned 18, her father also gifted her a red Volkswagen Polo GTI as well. The delivery of her latest Golf GTI took place at Phoenix Volkswagen in Thrissur, Kerala. Her Golf GTI is finished in the lovely shade of Grenadilla Black Metallic.
This hot hatch comes powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine making 265 PS and 370 Nm of torque. It comes mated to a 7-speed DSG (DQ381) gearbox. The Golf GTI can do a sprint of 0–100 kmph in just 5.9 seconds and can reach a top speed of 250 kmph. Malayalam movie stars, including Mammootty, Fahadh Faasil, Joju George, Jayasurya, and others, have also bought this hot hatch.
