Actor Gifts Wife Mahindra BE6 To Celebrate 10th Wedding Anniversary
Mahindra BE6, launched in November last year, is now a hot-selling model in India. In the past few months, we saw it reach the garages of many celebrities and public figures. Indian actor Ganesh Venkatraman recently gifted his wife a BE6 on their 10th wedding anniversary. Photos of the couple receiving the electric SUV from the dealer were later shared online.

Ganesh Venkatraman is an Indian actor, model, and motivational speaker. He primarily works in Tamil and Telugu movies and is quite popular on social media platforms. Venkatraman has over 378K followers on Instagram at the time of writing. Nisha Ganesh, his wife, is also an actor and influencer with more than 4.9lakh Instagram followers.
In the images, we see Venkatraman and Nisha posing with the EV at the dealership. In some of these images, we see the couple with their kids. Together, they are seen receiving the key from the dealership staff.
The actor wrote in the description, “For me, finding you was the best day of my life, and these ten years have been the most incredible road trip. This beauty right here is a small gift to celebrate every mile we've shared.”
The BE6 comes in eight colour options. The vehicle seen here is finished in ‘Firestorm Orange’- a shade that looks particularly striking on the SUV. Though not mentioned in the post here, this BE6 seems to be the Pack 3 variant. It now has an ex-showroom price of Rs 26.90 lakh.
Opting for the 11.2kW fast charger will make this increase to Rs 27.65 lakh, ex-showroom. These pictures have been getting massive traction online. Many congratulated the two on their anniversary.

The BE6 impresses with its design. Sharp body lines, clean panels, striking light signatures, and a set of attractive colours. The design has a strong focus on aerodynamics. Even the bonnet has an air duct that runs between the headlights, channelling the air through the bonnet for better aero-efficiency. Higher variants of the BE6 ride on 19-inch wheels, while the lower variants come with 18-inch units.
The interior looks futuristic and comes packed with features. There is a halo-like surround for the driver, giving a cockpit-like view. The top-spec BE6 comes with features like two 12.3-inch floating displays (for infotainment and instrumentation), Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon premium audio system with Dolby Atmos, a wireless charging pad, auto park assist, 360-degree camera, level 2 ADAS, dual-zone climate control, in-car camera, an electronic parking brake, a flat-bottom steering wheel with an illuminated Mahindra logo, a panoramic glass roof and more.
Underpinning the BE6 is the scalable and modular INGLO skateboard platform that Mahindra developed in-house. It comes with a semi-active suspension setup and has variable gear ratios for its electric power steering.
It offers two battery options- 59kWh and 79 kWh, both sourced from BYD. The electric motor sits on the rear axle and produces 228hp and 380 Nm on the 59kWh variant and 281hp and 380Nm on the larger battery variant. The more powerful variant can do the 0-100kph sprint in just 6.7 seconds.
The 79 kWh version has an ARAI-claimed range of 682km (WLTP range of 550km per charge). The ARAI range of the smaller battery pack is 556km. Mahindra offers a lifetime warranty on both batteries, making life easier for owners.
They support high-speed charging and can be replenished from 20% to 80% in just 20 minutes, on a 175kW DC fast charger. The 11.2kW AC charger can get the larger battery charged from 0 to 100 per cent in just 8 hours. The 7.3kWh AC charger takes slightly longer for the same- 11.7 hours. These, however, have to be bought separately.
