Billionaire Gautam Adani Arrives In His 1000 Crore Boeing Jet To Inspect His New Airport At Navi Mumbai [Video]

Mumbai is the financial capital of India and it is also known as the city that never sleeps. You’ll always find traffic on the road and just like the roads, the skies are also busy. The Mumbai International Airport is one of the busiest in the country and we often hear of flight delays due to congestion. In order to resolve this issue, the authorities have been working on a new airport at Navi Mumbai. The runway is now ready and in order to inspect the progress of the work at the new airport, Gautam Adani recently visited in his Rs 1,000 crore jumbo jet.
The video has been shared by Flyyo India on their Instagram page. In the video, we see a Boeing 737 Max narrow-body aircraft at the runway of the new airport at Navi Mumbai. The aircraft was slowly taxiing through the runway and just before coming to the bay, it received the water salute. This is actually a ceremonial welcome, and any aircraft that lands at a new airport or runway is given this treatment.
Adani’s aircraft had landed at Navi Mumbai airport for the first time and that is probably why it received the water salute. Once the aircraft came to a stop, there were a bunch of expensive cars waiting for Mr. Adani at the runway. We see Mr. Adani get off the aircraft and get into the cars that were waiting for him. We see BMW 7-Series, Mercedes-Benz GLS, Range Rover and multiple Innova Crysta MPVs in the convoy. We also see the Mahindra Scorpio Classic and a couple of other vehicles that are used inside the airport.
The reason why Adani is visiting the airport is because Adani Group owns 74 percent stake in this new airport. He was visiting to inspect the work at the airport. The first phase of the Navi Mumbai airport is almost finished and recently it was announced by Mr. Adani that the airport will be operational from October 8, 2025.
Coming to the aircraft in which he arrived, it is a brand-new Boeing 737 Max aircraft that he had bought recently. This aircraft is part of the Boeing Business Jet Max Series and it costs around Rs 1,000 crore. As per the details that are available online, Mr. Adani has spent another Rs 35 crore on the interior of the jet.
The jet is said to have an ultra-luxury cabin featuring a bedroom, bathroom, lounge, and conference room, which were designed in Switzerland. Apart from this, the jet also comes with high-speed internet service for uninterrupted communication and a smart system that automates the lighting, temperature, and entertainment.
The 737 Max 8 uses two CFM LEAP-1B engines. With these engines and the most cutting-edge aviation technology, this jet can travel 11,975 km non-stop. It can also stay airborne for around 14 hours. It can do non-stop flights to places like London and can reach the US or Canada with one stop. It recently completed a 6,300 km non-stop flight from Switzerland to Ahmedabad where the aircraft was delivered to Adani Group.
