Billionaire Gautam Singhania Questions Lamborghini's Safety After Aventador Fire In Bengaluru [Video]

We recently came across a video of a multi-crore Lamborghini Aventador that caught fire in the middle of the road. The incident happened in Bengaluru, and we have all seen the videos of it online. Now, if you use social media regularly, you would already know that billionaire businessman Gautam Singhania, for some reason, is not a big fan of the Lamborghini brand. He has posted videos highlighting issues with Lamborghini models in the past. This time around, he has posted the video of the Aventador fire and calls the Lamborghini fires “a pattern.”

The video has been posted by Gautam Singhania on his Instagram page. He shared the video of the Lamborghini Aventador fire with a caption: “Another day, another Lamborghini in flames. This time in Bengaluru. This isn’t a ‘rare incident’ anymore. It’s a pattern. Why is Lamborghini silent??? Why are their cars catching fire??? Are their cars safe??? Should they be allowed in India???”

As we already know, Indian billionaire businessman Gautam Singhania is a big-time car enthusiast, and he has been critical of the Italian supercar brand for some time. However, the brand has not responded to him in any way till date. He has even expressed shock at the arrogant attitude of Lamborghini India’s management and noted that no one from the team had reached out to him or the customers to investigate the reported issues.

This all started when Gautam Singhania first took a test drive of the Lamborghini Revuelto soon after it was officially launched in India. He drove the car in Mumbai, and after covering some distance, the brand-new supercar developed an electrical issue and broke down. He was stranded on the Atal Setu.

After his bad experience, he kept posting against the brand on social media, but he has not heard anything from them yet. He mentions that he has spoken to multiple Lamborghini customers, and they have admitted to facing issues with their cars.

The reason why the Lamborghini in this case caught fire was explained by the owner himself on his social media. The Aventador belonged to social media influencer Sanjeev, who is better known as Nimma Mane Maga Sanju. He mentioned that most people who saw the fire were actually not helping and were instead recording videos for social media.

He said that only an auto driver and a cabbie came to his rescue and helped him. The fire was caused by a minor petrol leak, and he was able to douse the fire in time, which avoided a major issue. The car is now parked in the influencer’s garage.

So, was it actually Lamborghini's fault that the the Aventador caught fire or was it something else. I guess we will never know. Coming back to Gautam Singhania, this is not the first time he has posted something like this on social media. He has shared videos of a Lamborghini Huracán engulfed in flames on the Coastal Road in Mumbai.

He also posted a video of a Lamborghini Aventador from Chennai, where the rear tyre of the supercar came off the rim while it was being driven. He even trolled Lamborghini earlier this year after a post about the Lamborghini Revuelto’s gearbox failing during a top-speed run at Navi Mumbai airport went viral.
