This video showing the violent act of these tourists has been shared on YouTube by In Goa News on their channel. It starts off with a Toyota Etios Liva hatchback parked in the left lane of a road in Sangolda. We can then note that the driver’s side door of this vehicle was open, and one of the tourists hops over this door and starts hitting the car driver. He can also be seen using a helmet to hit this driver.

The clip shows that while pulling out the driver, the person hitting with the helmet loses his grip, and the helmet gets thrown away. However, as this happens, the friend of the person hitting the car driver grabs the helmet and starts destroying the car even further. The windshield of the Etios Liva was broken, along with the front right door.

Most likely, the police authorities will get the information of the place that rented these tourists the scooters and then get all the details about these tourists. However, at the moment, it has not been reported if a complaint has been registered against these tourists at the local police station.

Today in India, people are now getting involved in road rage for very small reasons. People get so angry on road that they do not think about the consequences and start fighting other drivers on the road. Due to this reason, we request everyone to keep yourself calm during stressful situations on road and avoid confrontation as much as possible.

This is why Indian tourists have a bad reputation in Goa

It’s cases like these, where tourists who come from other states and thrash local Goan people, that have caused them to be hated in this state. Over the last few years, the number of similar cases has increased exponentially. Recently, another case was shared online in which a tourist took his rented Maruti Suzuki Baleno onto Morjim Beach and got stuck.

This particular man was then confronted by local residents and also a police officer. However, instead of apologizing for his mistake, he was seen making excuses. The man started blaming Google Maps for causing this mistake. He stated that he typed in Morjim Beach, and the map showed him this way.

Local residents then said that he should have used his own logic and not driven on the sand. However, despite this, the man was adamant and continued blaming Google Maps for this blunder. In addition to this man, there have been numerous other instances where tourists drive their cars onto the beach despite knowing that this act is completely illegal.
