Indian cricketers are often known to lead a lavish lifestyle. They can afford to do so because cricket is one of the highest-paying sports in the country. While we know that national cricket team players like Kohli and Hardik Pandya own or have a taste in expensive cars, there are other cricketers in India who have a passion for both the sport as well as cars. One such cricketer is Ganeshraj Narvekar. Not many might know this name, but he is actually an Indian cricketer who represents Goa in the Inter-State T20 Cricket Tournament.

Why has his name come up in the news? Well, he recently took delivery of his Mahindra BE6 Batman Edition. Ganeshraj is probably the only cricketer in the country to own a BE6 Batman Edition at the moment. He shared the images of his new ride on his social media profile. In the social media post, he is seen taking delivery of his brand-new Mahindra BE6 Batman Edition. In fact, he is accompanied by his mother on this special occasion.

We see the cricketer and his mother celebrate the moment by cutting a cake at the dealership. After that, they posed for pictures with the car. As we already know, the BE6 Batmobile Edition is limited to 999 units and the cricketer took delivery of the 7th unit. He posted a reel on Instagram where he is seen taking delivery of the same car.

He posted the video with a caption:

“From Gotham to Goa my BEAST has arrived - Mahindra BE6 Batman Dark Knight Edition. Only 999 units will be made and I got my favourite 7/999. As a Batman fan, it doesn’t get better than this real-life Batmobile.”

Mahindra launched the BE6 electric SUV in the market last year, and deliveries for the same started early this year. Due to the unique design of the BE6, Mahindra decided to launch an official Batman Edition of the BE6 in August this year.

It is based on the top-end Pack Three variant of the BE6 with minor cosmetic changes. Mahindra had initially limited the BE6 Batman Edition to 300 units. However, due to its overwhelming response, they decided to increase the number to 999. When the bookings commenced, all these 999 units were sold in just 135 seconds.

It is a one-of-a-kind tie-up between Mahindra and Warner Bros. The car took inspiration from the Dark Knight Trilogy. The BE6 exterior gets a satin black paint job, which is contrasted with gloss black elements in between. The front looks just like the regular BE6 but, as you move to the side, you realise that the BE6 now gets 20-inch aero-blade alloy wheels with the Batman logo in the centre of the hub caps.

The front fender also has a Batman logo finished in a brushed alchemy gold shade. On the front door, there is a custom Batman decal too. As we move to the rear, there are Batman Edition brandings and a Batman logo on the tailgate as well. All windows and the rear windshield also get Batman logos on them.

Moving inside, the Batman Edition BE6 maintains the same all-black and brushed alchemy gold theme in the cabin too. There is a Brushed Alchemy Gold Batman Edition plaque on the dashboard with numbering. Other than this, it also gets a Charcoal leather instrument panel (IP) with a brushed gold halo around the driver’s cockpit, suede and leather upholstery with gold sepia accent stitching, and an integrated Dark Knight Trilogy Bat emblem for a rich, tactile experience. It also features a gold-accented steering wheel, In-Touch Controller, Electronic Parking Brake, custom key fob with alchemy gold detailing, and the Dark Knight Trilogy Bat emblem embossed on the “Boost” button, seats, and interior labels.

We also see a pinstripe graphic and the Dark Knight Trilogy Bat emblem across the passenger dashboard panel, race car-inspired open straps with Batman Edition branding, Batman Edition welcome animation on the infotainment display, and custom Batman-inspired exterior engine sounds. The Infinity roof also features the Batman Trilogy Bat emblem. Mechanically it remains the same and is based on the bigger 79 kWh battery pack variant and was launched at an ex-showroom price of ₹27.79 lakh.
