Governor Of This State Has Taken Delivery Of 3 Brand New Mahindra XEV 9E Electric SUVs

The Mahindra XEV 9E is currently one of the hottest new electric SUVs in the market. Its list of owners includes many Bollywood celebrities and famous bureaucrats. Most recently, the Governor of Odisha, Hari Babu Kambhampati, also added not one, not two, but a total of three Mahindra XEV 9E electric SUVs to his fleet. A video showing the fleet of the Odisha Governor's convoy of the XEV 9Es has been shared online.

In this short video, the black-colored Mahindra XEV 9E can be seen arriving at an event celebrating Rajasthan Foundation Day, Ugadi, and Gudi Padwa at Raj Bhavan, Bhubaneswar. We can note that the XEV 9E with the Indian State Emblem Ashoka entered the Raj Bhavan.

Governor of Odisha adds three Mahindra XEV 9Es

Apart from this video, another video has been shared on X in which the three Mahindra XEV 9E electric SUVs can be seen parked at the front of the Raj Bhavan. Along with these SUVs, there were a few electric scooters as well. We can note that all three Mahindra XEV 9Es are finished in Stealth Black color. They also have the Indian State Emblem Ashoka finished in gold, and it is present on the front and rear of all three SUVs.

The Mahindra XEV 9E, as mentioned, is currently the flagship electric SUV from the brand. It starts at Rs 21.90 lakh for the base Pack One variant. Then there are the Pack Two and the Pack Three Select variants, priced at Rs 24.90 lakh and Rs 27.90 lakh, respectively. Lastly, the Pack Three variant, which comes with the larger 79 kWh battery pack, is priced at Rs 30.50 lakh.

Most likely, the Governor of Odisha has opted for the top-of-the-line Pack Three variant. This variant comes equipped with a massive 79 kWh battery pack, which provides a range of 656 km. As for the electric motor, it powers the rear wheels and makes 282 bhp and 380 Nm of torque. The lower variants get a 228 bhp and 380 Nm of torque-generating motor and a 59 kWh battery pack, which offers a range of 542 km.

As for the features, the Pack Three Mahindra XEV 9E comes loaded with features such as three large 12.30-inch screens on the dashboard, 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio with Dolby Atmos, two screens for rear passengers, and VisionX Augmented Reality HUD.

It also gets MAIA (Mahindra Artificial Intelligence Architecture), a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 processor, 24 GB of RAM, and 128 GB of internal storage, seat ventilation, electrically adjustable seats, an infinity glass roof with integrated dynamic lights, a 360-degree camera, multi-zone climate control, and Level 2+ ADAS.

Odisha Raj Bhavan is at net zero campus

In the above video, it has been highlighted that the Raj Bhavan of Odisha has now become a net zero campus. As per the post, the Raj Bhavan has a 150 kW-generating solar panel system, and another 400 kW-generating system will be added soon. Also, all the vehicles in the motorcade of the Governor are electric. These include the three Mahindra XEV 9Es, a few Ather electric scooters, and a few other local Indian electric scooters.
