Bollywood Actor Govinda Buys New BMW 530 Li M-Sport [Video]
Govinda Arun Ahuja, better known as Govinda is a Bollywood actor who has done over 165 movies in Hindi. He seems to have updated his garage again. This time the 61-year-old actor-turned-politician has bought a brand-new BMW 530 Li M Sport. The Instagram ID ActorLalitBindal recently shared a video showing Govinda taking delivery of his new sedan. The actor has an estimated net worth of 170 Crores.
The video shared on Instagram shows Govinda posing for photographs with his new White BMW 530 Li M Sport. He is also seen receiving flowers and sharing sweets to further celebrate the occasion.
More About The New BMW 530 Li M-Sport
BMW launched the eighth-generation 5 series in India in July last year. The sedan now comes in the long wheelbase (LWB) avatar and has a price of Rs 72.90 lakh, ex-showroom. Unlike the predecessor which offered the choice of petrol and diesel powertrains, the new generation is only available in a single variant- the 530 Li M Sport.
It is powered by a 2.0L, four-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that produces 258 hp and 400 Nm of torque. Plus, the vehicle has a rear-wheel drive (RWD) layout. The new 530 Li M-Sport can do 0-100 kph in just 6.5 seconds and has a top speed of 250 kph.
When compared to its predecessor, the new 530 Li MSport has several key improvements, the most important of which is the increased wheelbase. It has, in fact, become the largest car in the segment. The cabin gets major overhauls as well- both in design, and equipment on offer.
Govinda's Daughter Drives A BMW i5 M60
Tina Ahuja, Govinda’s daughter now drives a BMW i5 M60 that wears a striking Red paint. The i5 is the electric vehicle (EV) form of the 5 series and the M60 in its name denotes this electric sedan's focus on performance. The i5 M60 xDrive comes in as a CBU import and has an ex-showroom price of 1.2 Crores.
The i5 M60 xDrive boasts a large 83.9 kWh battery pack and two electric motors that form the base for an all-wheel drive (AWD) system. The powertrain is capable of producing 601 hp and 795 Nm. 0-100 kph is done in just 3.8 seconds! BMW claims the sedan to deliver a (WLTP) range of 516 km per charge.
Govinda Gifted A BMW 3 Series To His Wife
The family's penchant with BMW doesn't end here. In 2021, the actor had gifted his wife Sunita Ahuja, a Blue BMW 3 series Gran Limousine, on the occasion of Karwa Chauth.
The Gran Limousine is the long wheelbase version of the 3 series that had premeired in India in 2021. It had a wheelbase that was 110 mm longer than that of the standard car. This essentially meant more cabin room and comfort on offer for the occupants.
The 3 series Gran Limo had the same set of engines as the standard sedan- 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, twin-turbo petrol and diesel units that produce 254 bhp and 187 bhp respectively. Both engines could produce the same 400 Nm of torque. The actor's garage back then, also had a MINI Clubman in it.
Over the years, we have seen Govinda own vehicles like a previous generation Mercedes-Benz C-Class, Mercedes-Benz GLC, Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour, Mitsubishi Lancer and a Hyundai Creta.
