Half-Naked Men in Maruti Suzuki Eeco Arrested for Harassing Woman Motorcyclist

Recently, a video was shared online in which a group of half-naked men driving in a Maruti Suzuki Eeco minivan from Uttar Pradesh were seen making indecent gestures to a woman rider in Haridwar, Uttarakhand. Well, in the video, the woman was seen complaining to the police in an interceptor vehicle. Now, after this video became viral on the internet, it has been reported that the Uttar Pradesh police have managed to arrest these individuals and also seize the Maruti Suzuki Eeco seen in the video.

Naked men who harassed woman rider arrested

The video showing the aftermath of harassing a woman motorcycle rider on the highway has been shared on YouTube by Prateek Singh on their channel. In this short video, it can be noted that the Meerut, Uttar Pradesh police, with the help of the registration number of the Maruti Suzuki Eeco in the video, were able to track down the owner and one of the men who were inside the vehicle when the above-mentioned incident took place.

As per the video, the police officials from Pallavpuram, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, found the vehicle and its occupants. In the short clip, the person covering this news shows the grey-colored Maruti Suzuki parked outside the police station. The video then shows that two people linked with this vehicle were sitting inside the station in front of the police authorities.

It can be observed that these individuals were asked to fold their hands and say that all women of Uttarakhand are their sisters. We can also note that these men were asked to continuously repeat this phrase, and they exactly followed the orders. Also, they were walking in a crooked manner, which suggests that they have been beaten by the authorities while they were under arrest to teach them a lesson.

What actually happened?

As stated above, recently a video became viral on the internet in which a group of men were seen driving on the Uttarakhand highway near Haridwar. These men were partying inside the minivan and were half-naked. At the same time, a woman rider by the name of Rider Noni was riding her Yamaha MT-15 motorcycle on the same highway just alongside the Eeco of these men

Following this, one of the men, who came outside the front window and was sitting on the door, started waving at this woman rider. He was then seen making a number of indecent gestures, making the rider very uncomfortable. It was also noted that other men inside the vehicle were also half-naked and were shouting and making noises.

The woman rider then, instead of getting panicked, started recording the footage on her phone, which showed these men making vulgar gestures. She then found a police interceptor vehicle parked on the side of the same highway. She immediately went to the officer and showed him the video and asked them to take quick action, as the vehicle might not have gone far ahead. The police authorities were then seen driving to catch these men.

Thankfully, now that these people have been arrested and their vehicle has been seized, it will now come off as a strong message that anyone who behaves in such a manner on their own will be caught and punished. Over the last few years, the Uttar Pradesh police have become very vigilant and have been taking actions against miscreants very quickly.
