Hardik Pandya First Indian Cricketer To Own A Lexus LM 350h Hybrid Luxury MPV Worth Rs. 3 Crore

Hardik Pandya has just become the first Indian cricketer to bring home a Lexus luxury MPV. Pandya was recently seen in the Lexus LM 350h Hybrid Luxury MPV, which retails for about Rs. 2.96 crore, on-road Mumbai. The Lexus LM 350h is soon becoming the luxury MPV of choice among the rich and famous. Ranbir Kapoor owns one. The Ambanis own one. And Hardik Pandya is the latest in this exclusive list of Lexus LM 350h owners.
The Lexus LM 350h sold in India comes in two variants: a 7 seater that’s mainly used by five star hotels to ferry its guests, and a 4 seater that’s used by celebrities. The four seat version of the Lexus LM 350h Hybrid is essentially a lounge on wheels, and is supremely comfortable. Pandya’s bought the four seat model.
This MPV is meant to cocoon its occupants, and serve as a luxurious alternative to luxury SUVs. In fact, the Lexus’ lower ride height means that one can simply walk in and out of the MPV rather than say climb into a SUV, and this is a major reason why many love the Lexus LM 350h MPV over comparable SUVs.
The Lexus LM 350h is a hybrid, and is powered by a 2.5 liter-4 cylinder petrol engine that puts out 190 Bhp-242 Nm, and two electric motors that drive the front and rear axles through a e-CVT automatic gearbox. In fact, the Lexus LM 350h is an all wheel drive car thanks to the combination of petrol and electric power, and also the e-CVT transmission.
Combined output stands at 250 Bhp, enough to give this large MPV sprightly performance. The larger front electric motor makes 180 Bhp and 270 Nm while the smaller one on the rear axle makes 52 Bhp and 121 Nm. All three units (engine, and two electric motors) drive the MPV, giving it the hybrid tag.
As for dimensions, the Lexus LM 350h is a large car, and is even longer than Lexus’ flagship SUV – the LX 570, with a length of 5,125 mm. Height and width come in at 1,940 mm and 1,890 mm respectively, making the Lexus MPV quite massive and imposing on the road. The typical Lexus styling up front and 19 inch wheels give this MPV a suave yet bold look. The rear doors have a sliding action, a-la-Toyota Alphard. In fact, the Lexus is the more upmarket, stylish version of the Alphard, which is already very popular in the Indian market.
Apart from the Lexus, the Indian all-rounder has a range of exotic cars. He is regularly seen in a Mercedes Benz G63 AMG, which happens to be the most powerful off roader produced by the German luxury car brand. Other cars in his garage include the Lamborghini Huracan supercar and a Range Rover luxury SUV. He also has an Audi A6 luxury sedan. The Lexus is probably the most comfortable of all the cars he owns, and the cricketer is likely to be seen most in this car, especially when he’s not in the driver’s seat.
