The vehicle featured in this video is a fully-loaded 2 Wheel Drive (2WD) Harrier EV finished in Matte Black. It is, in fact, the Stealth edition. Prashant, its owner, says that he was one of the first ones in Telangana to get the (Stealth Edition) vehicle delivered. Soon after taking delivery, he gave it a Matte PPF.

Early in the video, the host gives a quick tour of the Harrier EV’s cabin. He quickly explains some of the features inside and how the overall cabin design resembles that of the diesel SUV. Prashant then talks about his diesel Harrier.

It has been three years since he bought it, and the vehicle has run 2 lakh kilometers during the period. It is a manual variant and is now being used by the owner and his team for business purposes. He says that it covers almost 500 km every day!

The owner says that he is very happy and satisfied with the diesel Harrier. He has had a peaceful ownership, which motivated him to buy the electric version of the same vehicle. He loves the way the Harrier looks.

The owner talks about the Harrier.EV’s range and charging cycles. This variant of the Harrier.EV features a 75 kWh battery pack. This owner reports that he has got up to 520-530 km per charge in range. He adds that home charging takes 8 hours for the battery to be full.

DC charging takes just 30-45 minutes to get the battery charged to over 80 per cent. The owner says that the EV is being used for shorter commutes (100-250 km max), and adds that he follows a proper charging routine.

Like many others, this owner is also impressed by the safety levels offered by the Harrier- both the diesel and the EV. Safety is one of the reasons that binds him closer to the brand. The Harrier, in fact, holds five-star safety ratings from both Global NCAP and Bharat NCAP. It is built sturdy and comes packed with safety features.

Another thing that this owner loves about his electric SUV is the NVH standards it has set. Since it is electric, the Harrier.EV is absolutely smooth and silent to drive around in. The diesel Harrier, as Prashant himself says, isn’t really quiet inside, due to the mighty 2.0L Stellantis-sourced diesel engine.

Happy With The Diesel Harrier Too

Despite having run 2 lakh kilometers, Prashant’s diesel Harrier is in good shape. He says that it hasn’t had a breakdown yet. He’s never had to spend much on repairs. The only instances of replacements he can think of are the clutch plate at 1.72 lakh kilometers and the tyres. He further says that the vehicle goes to the service station every month for its periodic maintenance.

The Harrier diesel has to be serviced every 15,000 kilometers. Due to the extensive use cycle, this owner gets the service done every 12,000 km. He also makes it a point to change brake pads every single time (in fact, he particularly asks for it) to stay on the safer side.
