Bollywood Actress Hema Malini Upgrades To MG M9 Electric Luxury MPV From Hector
The veteran Bollywood actress Hema Malini, who is also known as the “Dream Girl,” has recently bought herself a brand-new luxury electric MPV. She has upgraded from her previous SUV, the MG Hector, to the brand-new luxury MPV, the MG M9. She took delivery of the new MG M9 on the second day of Ganesh Chaturthi at her residence, and a video showing her taking the covers off it has been shared online.
Hema Malini buys brand-new MG M9 electric MPV
The video showing Hema Malini taking delivery of her MG M9 electric MPV has been shared on Instagram by MG Select Mumbai on their page. In this short clip, a fully covered MG M9 was kept at a decorated delivery area made at the actress' residence in Mumbai. Following this, she was seen being greeted by the MG dealership employees, who also gave her a huge bouquet.
Soon after this, she stands in front of her brand-new MG M9, which was hidden under a black cloth. Hema Malini can then be seen removing the cover off the car, and she gets very excited after seeing her new luxury electric MPV. She is then handed over the keys to the MG M9 and performs Hindu rituals to seek the blessings of God.
Following this, the actress takes the seat behind the steering wheel of this electric MPV. She was then taken to the rear of the MG M9 and was shown the thoughtful decoration done by the dealership to make her delivery more memorable. It can be noted that there were a number of pictures on a short rope and a few balloons. In the images, the actress can be seen with her husband and veteran actor Dharmendra and her kids.
MG M9 electric MPV
MG India launched the M9 electric MPV back in July of this year. This luxury MPV’s main highlights are the rear captain seats. To add to the luxury appeal, the company offers the M9 with a Cognac and black interior colour scheme. It also gets accents like brushed aluminium and faux wood, which add to the classy feel of this MPV.
The middle captain seats of the MG M9 offer 16-way electric adjustability, heating, ventilation, and massage functions. They can also be fully reclined, which makes them even more comfortable. MG has loaded the M9 with a number of features. These include a 12-speaker sound system from JBL, separate infotainment screens for the rear occupants, a split sunroof, and a multi-function steering wheel.
It also comes equipped with an all-digital instrument cluster, a 12.23-inch infotainment touchscreen, a wireless smartphone charger, a 360-degree camera, three-zone climate control, memory function for the seats, Level 2 ADAS, and connected car technology.
Powering the MG M9 is an electric motor that produces 245 PS and 350 Nm of peak torque. As for the battery pack, it gets a 90 kWh unit, which, according to company claims, offers a range of 548 km per charge. It also comes with Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) functionalities as well.
Hema Malini also owns an MG Hector
The MG M9 is not the only MG vehicle owned by Hema Malini. She also owns a silver-coloured MG Hector, which she bought a couple of years ago. It is also finished in the classy shade of silver. Apart from these, she also used to be driven around in a Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Audi Q5, and a Mercedes-Benz ML-Class.
