This video, showing the lovely reaction of the husband receiving a Mahindra Thar ROXX as a gift, has been shared on Instagram by Arpitha Abhisek on their page. In this short video, this particular influencer can be seen coming out of a Kia Seltos along with her daughter. She then assists her husband, who was wearing an eye mask, to safely come out of the vehicle.
Following this, she then helps her husband by holding his hand and guiding him to the main ground where the big surprise was waiting for him. The video then shows that she removes the mask from the eyes of her husband, and he then notices the massive red box which was present in front of him.
After this, the husband moves closer to the giant red box, and he then unties the red bow which was holding the box in its place. Finally, when he successfully unties it, the side walls of this box collapse and reveal his brand-new Mahindra Thar ROXX SUV. What happens next is that the husband hugs his wife and holds their daughter.
He then dips her tiny feet in red liquid and then puts her feet imprints on the bumper of their new SUV. This is a Hindu tradition which is done for blessings of Goddess Laxmi, as daughters, wives, and mothers are considered to be incarnations of the goddess. Finally, they drive off the vehicle from the event location and take it to a temple for more Hindu rituals.

From the video, it can be noted that the wife has gifted her husband a brand-new Thar ROXX AX7L variant, which is the top-of-the-line variant of this SUV. The AX7L variant starts at Rs 19.49 lakh for the RWD variant. From there, it goes up to Rs 23.09 lakh for the 4WD diesel variant. It comes loaded with features such as LED headlamps, LED tail lamps, 18-inch steel wheels, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and push-button start.
It also comes with safety features such as 6 airbags, ESP, ABS, brake locking differential, and ADAS Level 2. Mahindra also provides the Thar ROXX with a height-adjustable driver’s seat, fabric seats, rear AC vents, 3-point seat belts for all five passengers, 60:40 split rear seat, USB C-port charging, a panoramic sunroof, and a penta-link suspension.
The Thar ROXX is offered with two engine options — the first is a 2-litre, 4-cylinder mFalcon unit with 160 bhp of peak power and 330 Nm of peak torque. Meanwhile, the other option is a 2.2-litre, 4-cylinder mHawk unit which makes 150 bhp and 330 Nm. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
