The Honda Elevate is currently the only SUV on offer from the Japanese automotive giant in India. In its standard iteration, it looks very classy and elegant, but what if Honda created an extremely sporty iteration of the Elevate? Well, in our opinion, it could look exactly like this rendered version created by a very talented digital artist. This particular Honda Elevate has been given an extremely sporty design with a custom body kit and aftermarket alloy wheels.

The images of this extremely aggressive and sporty version of the Honda Elevate have been shared on Instagram by Bimble Designs on their page. This particular digital artist has taken a standard Honda Elevate and added a ton of unique details that make this SUV look like something created by the street racers of Japan. The artist has given it the name Honda Elevate R-Type.

Honda Elevate R-Type: Design Details

Honda Elevate front

First off, let’s talk about the front-end design of this Elevate. We can note the main front grille of this SUV has been changed, and it now gets a honeycomb pattern with alternating sizes. Also, the bezels of this grille have been finished in carbon fiber. Speaking of carbon fiber, the entire bonnet of this vehicle is finished in carbon fiber and gets a scoop.

It also gets custom dual LED projector headlights with L-shaped DRLs. Apart from this, the front bumper of this Elevate R-Type has been redesigned as well. It has now been made a lot more aggressive, and the same honeycomb grille pattern continues on the lower section as well.

Additionally, the lower portion of the bumper and the extended front splitter with canards on either side are also finished in carbon fiber. Moving a little above, we can note that the roof of this vehicle is also finished in carbon fiber. This is mostly done in race cars and expensive sports cars to reduce the overall weight of the vehicle.

On the side profile, the artist has given this Elevate a very aggressive widebody kit. The front fenders and the rear fenders have been extended, which adds to the widebody appearance. It also has to be noted that the SUV has been given a molded body kit, as it does not have any external hardware, which makes it look like a bolt-on kit.

Apart from this, the side profile also gets a set of massive multispoke alloy wheels with low-profile tires. The brake calipers of this SUV have also been painted in a sporty red color, which adds a striking contrast to the blue color of this SUV. Additionally, the ORVM covers of this SUV have also been finished in carbon fiber, along with the custom side skirts and all the claddings.

As for the rear-end design of this Honda Elevate R-Type, this SUV gets a custom split-design roof spoiler and a set of connected LED taillights. It also gets rear quarter panel extensions for the widebody kit. Also, the rear lower section of the bumper gets the same honeycomb grille pattern. There are two massive oval exhaust tips as well, which add to the sporty appearance of this SUV.

Can this Honda Elevate R-Type be recreated in reality?

Although we all are aware that these pictures are just renders based on the imagination of the digital artist, if someone has experience in fabrication and the skills to create a custom widebody kit, that person can take this design as inspiration and create a Honda Elevate that looks exactly like this model.
