The Hyundai Creta Electric is the first mass-market electric vehicle from the South Korean brand in India. Now, as it is based on the already popular mid-size SUV Creta, there is a lot of interest from buyers. So, if you are also looking to buy the Creta Electric, its Smart (O) variant of the Long Range option is one of the best value-for-money variants. Recently, a video giving a detailed walkaround of this particular variant has been shared online.

This detailed video of the Hyundai Creta Long Range Smart (O) variant has been shared on YouTube by Car Quest on their page. It starts off with the host mentioning that this particular variant is one of the most value-for-money variants in the Hyundai Creta Electric lineup. He explains that the company offers this model in six variants. Four are offered with a smaller 42 kWh battery pack, and two are offered with the larger 51.4 kWh battery pack.

The Creta Electric starts at Rs 17.99 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs 23.49 lakh. As for the Smart (O) variant with the larger 51.4 kWh battery pack is priced at Rs 21.49 lakh.

Powertrain and Charging Details

Following the introduction, the vlogger first starts by talking about the powertrain details of the Creta Electric. He states that the larger 51.4 kWh battery pack variant offers a power of 171 PS and 255 Nm of torque. The vlogger then adds that, on a single full charge, the Creta Electric Long Range variant offers a range of 473 km of MIDC range.

Next up, he talks about the charging time of this variant. The vlogger states that the exact charging time with the portable charger provided by the company is not specified. However, with the 11 kW home charger, the 51.4 kWh battery pack can be charged from 0-100 percent in 4 hours and 50 minutes.

With the 50 kW DC charger, it takes only 58 minutes for a full charge. Apart from this, the host highlights that the company is offering a 3-year unlimited warranty for the Creta Electric. Also, it is offering an 8-year or 1.6 lakh km warranty on the battery pack. He then opens up the bonnet of the car and shows the 22-litre capacity front trunk.

Exterior Walkaround

After the battery and powertrain details, the vlogger shows the exterior design of the Creta Electric LR Smart (O) variant. He starts at the front and mentions that this variant comes equipped with connected LED DRLs and LED headlights. It also gets a pixelated design on the front grille. Apart from this, the model also gets active flaps for cooling on the lower part of the bumper.

These flaps open depending on the speed and the cooling requirement of the powertrain. He then shows the side profile of the model, and it looks similar to the standard model. The main highlight of the side profile is the 17-inch alloy wheels, which have been designed to be more aero-efficient.\

Also, this particular car has been optioned with the dual-tone paint option, so it gets a black roof. As for the rear, it looks the same as the ICE model but gets a redesigned rear bumper with a large silver skid plate. The same pixelated design is also present in the rear lower section as well.

Interior Design

After showing the complete exterior, the vlogger shows the interior of this SUV. He states that it gets a twin connected screen display, with the left one being the touchscreen infotainment system and the right one being the digital instrument gauge cluster. It also gets a floating centre console, a rotary knob for drive mode selection, and a drive selector behind the steering wheel.

Other notable highlights of the interior include a dual-zone climate control system, ambient lighting, a three-spoke steering wheel, dual-tone upholstery, a panoramic sunroof, and ADAS Level 2. The Smart (O) variant also comes with cruise control, paddle shifters to adjust regeneration, an electronic parking brake, and many other features.
