This video of a Creta owner buying a Mahindra Thar Roxx has been shared on YouTube. It comes courtesy of Sunderdeep Singh on his channel. It starts off with the vlogger introducing the owner of this particular Thar Roxx and his vehicle. Following this, he directly asks him the most important question:

Why did a Creta owner buy a Thar Roxx?

The host asks the owner of this particular Thar Roxx why he bought this SUV despite already owning a Creta. The owner of the car then replies that he and his mother already loved the Thar SUV. However, as it was not practical enough, he never bought it.

However, when his three-year-old son asked him to buy a Thar after watching numerous Instagram reels and other content related to the Thar, he made the decision to buy the brand-new Thar Roxx. The owner added that he also bought the Thar Roxx because he already owns the Hyundai Creta mid-size SUV.

He highlighted that even after buying the Thar Roxx, he and his family regularly use the Creta as it is a more family-friendly vehicle. The owner adds that the Thar Roxx is mostly used for hobbies and going around town.

How did the owner get this SUV so quickly?

Following this, the vlogger asks the owner about his delivery experience and how he got this car so quickly. To this, he replies that he reserved the car on the 15th of August, the day its bookings commenced. He added that, as an extra precaution, he reserved this SUV with four dealerships across Punjab and Haryana.

He explained that the demand for this SUV is higher in Punjab. The dealerships in his area were not giving him an answer as to when his SUV would arrive. However, the dealership from Hisar, Haryana, immediately helped him in getting the vehicle. He explained that he went to the dealership, and they quickly gave him the car.

Which variant and why Thar Roxx instead of Scorpio-N and Thar three-door?

Following this, the vlogger asks about the variant chosen by the owner. He then mentions that he opted for the Thar Roxx AX5L 4X4 variant with an automatic transmission. He explained that he did not need the panoramic sunroof or the extra speakers, so he went with this variant. Also, this variant was easily available, so he bought it instead of the AX7L.

After this, he explains that as his son and mother only wanted to get the Thar, they never considered the Scorpio-N as an alternative. He also mentions that he could have bought the Thar three-door before as well; however, due to its poor practicality, ergonomics, and harsh driving comfort, he refrained from buying that vehicle.

Is its interior on par with Creta?

The host then asks the owner about the differences in interior quality between the Hyundai Creta and the Thar Roxx. To this, the owner replies that although Mahindra has come a long way, it is still not on the exact same level as the South Korean automaker. He added that the fit and finish, as well as the quality of materials, are slightly inferior.

Likes and dislikes

Finally, the vlogger asks the owner about the likes and dislikes of this SUV. The owner states that so far, he has not driven this SUV thoroughly enough to give a deep dive into the likes and dislikes.

However, he mentions that he believes the ride quality is very good, the NVH levels are very low, and its electronic steering makes it very easy to maneuver. As for the dislikes, he mentions that the rear seating is not as comfortable as in the Hyundai Creta.
