Indian Entrepreneur Takes Delivery of Three Rolls Royce Cars On A Single Day

Indian billionaires often stun us with their car purchases. Some of them buy expensive and exclusive cars and SUVs while others host grand delivery ceremonies for their newly bought rides. Sanjay Ghodawat, a highly successful entrepreneur has now created headlines by buying Rolls Royce- not one, but three of them! A Cullinan Series II, Ghost Series II and a brand-new Spectre EV have now reached his garage!
Pictures of the gentleman taking delivery of the trio have now surfaced on social media. One of them shows him standing near the trio at what looks like the parking of the hotel where the private event was organized.
Rolls Royce launched the Series II Cullinan in India in September 2024. The SUV has an ex-showroom price of Rs 10.50 crores, before options, while the Black Badge has a starting price of 12.25 crores. The Cullinan Series II has already found a place in many celebrity and VIP garages. Ghodawat has chosen the Iguazu Blue shade for his Cullinan.
'Series II' essentially means that the vehicle is currently in its second generation. It hosts several visual differentiations like slimmer headlamps, L-shaped LED daytime running lights which now extend to the bumper, slightly tweaked grille, refreshed bumpers, and new wheels.
Inside, the Series II Cullinan features a full-width glass panel, just like what you see on the Phantom. It also comes with a new display ‘cabinet’ in the dash. The vehicle features the latest version of Rolls’ Spirit infotainment system, and even lets the owner match the colour of the instrument cluster to that of the vehicle or its upholstery.
The Cullinan Series II draws its power from a 6.75-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine, which comes mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. It has 571hp and 850Nm of torque on offer. You also get All Wheel Drive (AWD) on the vehicle.
Next up, is the Ghost Series II. The entrepreneur has chosen a classy Bohemian Red as the preferred colour for his newest Ghost! The second-generation sedan made its India debut in February. The ex-showroom price before options is 8.95 Crores. The Series II is a massive improvement over its predecessor. People always loved the Ghost for its dynamics and luxury. The second generation didn't disappoint either.
In terms of design, the Series II Ghost gets an improved headlamp design, refreshed bumpers, new wheels and more. The major highlight inside is the inclusion of the pillar-to-pillar glass panel, Rolls' new-age Spirit operating system, better connectivity, and more comfortable seats with massage, heating and cooling functions.
The powertrain remains the same as before- a 6.75L V12, twin-turbocharged petrol engine. It produces 563bhp and 850Nm of torque. This vehicle is underpinned by the manufacturer's latest-generation 'Architecture of Luxury'. This platform also forms the base for the Cullinan.
The billionaire has chosen the Imperial Jade shade for his Spectre EV. This is a shade of Green and looks particularly good on the electric sedan. The EV was launched in India in January 2024, with a base price of Rs 7.5 Crores. It also holds the title of being India's most expensive electric vehicle.
The Spectre comes with a huge 102 kWh battery pack, that claims to deliver a WLTP range of 530km per charge. Rolls Royce says it can charge from 10-80 per cent in just 34 minutes, over a 195kW charger. A 50kW DC charger will, however, take 95 minutes.
The Spectre gets a two-motor setup, the combined output of which is around 585hp and 900Nm. 0-100 kph, the brand says, can be done in just 4.5 seconds. Rolls Royce has based its first EV on the same Architecture of Luxury, as the Cullinan and the Ghost.
With a drag coefficient of 0.25, the Spectre is also the most aerodynamic Rolls-Royce ever. The key exterior design highlights include a large, illuminated front grille, LED headlamps, aero-tuned Spirit of Ecstacy, 23-inch wheels and a swooping roofline.
