Lately, we have come across several instances where entrepreneurs are seen buying new exotic and expensive cars. In most cases, young entrepreneurs buy supercars and SUVs as that matches their energy, while older businessmen often look for comfort and go for expensive and comfortable SUVs. However, here we have a video where an older businessman is seen taking delivery of a brand new Ferrari Purosangue at his office.

The video has been shared by M. Hemanth Kumar on his Instagram page. The older businessman seen in the video is actually Mr. Sekhar Vasan, who is the Managing Director of Sansera Engineering, an engineering-led integrated manufacturer of complex and critical precision components for the automotive and non-automotive sectors.

In this video, we see Mr. Vasan come out of his office in Karnataka. He is surrounded by staff and family members. As he walks ahead, he is greeted by a staff member from the Ferrari dealership. After handing over the keys to the car, Mr. Vasan gets into the driver’s seat and takes the car for a spin. In this video, we even see him drive the car on the road and then bring it back to the office.

We then see him pose for pictures with the Ferrari. The exact specs or details about the customizations on the car are not known, as these customizations would increase the price even further.

The car seen in the video is actually a very special Ferrari. This is the first-ever SUV from Ferrari to hit the production line. The car was launched in India last year. It is priced at around Rs. 10.5 crore, ex-showroom. The Ambanis bought this car soon after the launch.

What makes this Ferrari SUV special is that it is the most practical Ferrari ever made. It gets a 4-door design, usable rear seats, and boot space. The car seen in the images gets a red-colored exterior, which looks extremely sporty. We assume this is the beautiful Rosso Portofino shade.

The rear doors are rear-hinged, which opens up more space for occupants to get in and out. These doors can be opened and closed electronically. It is powered by a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine that generates 725 PS and 716 Nm of peak torque. The Ferrari Purosangue was launched in the market to rival the likes of the Lamborghini Urus and Aston Martin DBX.

The Ferrari Purosangue gained popularity almost immediately among rich Indian businessmen. A Bengaluru-based real estate businessman, Boopesh Reddy (Bren Garage), was the first one to buy a Ferrari Purosangue in India. In fact, he managed to get one before the official launch in India.

Apart from Boopesh Reddy, the Ambani family—popularly known as Jio Garage—has one of these SUVs in their collection. Akash Ambani is often seen driving this SUV on the roads of Mumbai on several occasions.

The car was also used to drop Shah Rukh Khan at the airport during the pre-wedding celebrations of his son in Jamnagar.
