The Only Indian To Own Both The Rolls Royce Spectre And The Mahindra BE6 Electric SUV

Electric vehicles are lately gaining popularity among buyers in India. If you are a customer looking for EVs, there are a bunch of them available across different segments. There are affordable, value-for-money, premium, and luxury EVs on offer. Many billionaire supercar owners have also started buying EVs. One such wealthy businessman is Parveen Agarwal from Kolkata. Along with a wide variety of exotic cars he owns, he is also probably the only one in India who owns both a Mahindra BE6 and a Rolls-Royce Spectre EV.
Mahindra, with their new electric vehicles, changed the EV game in the Indian market. Their BE6 and the XEV9E are currently the most technologically advanced vehicles from Mahindra. The BE6 is popular among many buyers for its sharp, sleek, Batmobile-like look.
The car also offers a host of premium features under 30 lakh. Parveen Agarwal bought the BE6 soon after Mahindra started deliveries. He went with the top-end Pack Three variant. Just like most of his supercars, he recently bought the BE6 in a bright shade of Firestorm Orange. While the owner has several cars in his garage, he was so overwhelmed by the BE6 that he said Mahindra has set a new benchmark.
The BE6 that the businessman owns is powered by a 79 kWh battery pack, which offers a range of 682 km on a single full charge. It generates 282 Bhp and 380 Nm of peak torque.
It comes with features like a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos, a panoramic glass roof with ambient lighting, a 360-degree camera, ADAS Level 2+, ventilated front seats, and a VisionX augmented reality head-up display. Mahindra also launched a limited-edition Batman Edition of the BE6 in the market, and all 999 units were sold out in just 135 seconds.
Months after buying the Mahindra BE6, Parveen took delivery of his next electric vehicle. This time, the car is a Rolls-Royce Spectre. This is entirely different from the BE6 that he already owns. A video of him taking delivery, along with priests performing religious rituals, surfaced online.
Coming to the car, Parveen bought the electric luxury sedan in a Nardo Grey-like shade, while the interiors get a sandalwood colour. The Rolls-Royce Spectre is the first-ever electric vehicle from the British car manufacturer. The price for a brand-new Spectre starts at Rs 7.5 crore (ex-showroom), and just like any Rolls-Royce, customisations make the car even more expensive.
The Rolls-Royce Spectre weighs over 3 tonnes. It is powered by a 102 kWh battery pack, which generates 593 PS and 900 Nm of peak torque. It offers a claimed range of 520 km and can do 0–100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds. As mentioned above, Parveen Agarwal is a car enthusiast and has several expensive cars in his garage.
He owns cars like the Ferrari 296 GTS, Lamborghini Aventador S Roadster, McLaren 720S, Lamborghini Urus, Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG, Rolls-Royce Ghost, Jeep Wrangler, Mercedes-Benz E-Class, and a BMW 7 Series sedan.
