The newly launched Mahindra BE 6 and XEV 9E have managed to win the hearts of many Indians. Of these, there are a number of popular celebrities who have also become fans of these electric SUVs. Most recently, Milind Deora, Member of Parliament from South Bombay, has shared his thoughts on the Mahindra BE 6. He stated that he is very excited to receive his own BE 6 electric SUV. The MP also highlighted that he is very proud of Mahindra.
Milind Deora recently shared a post of himself with the Mahindra BE 6. In his post, he stated, “Excited to receive my Made in India @Mahindra_Auto BE.06 electric vehicle! It’s a proud moment to see Indian companies innovating & competing with global majors in the EV space. A step towards a greener, self-reliant future!”
The Shiv Sena MP, Deora, was shown the Mahindra BE 6, finished in the shade of Desert Mist. As for the variant, it was the top-of-the-line Pack 3 variant, which is priced at Rs 26.90 lakh. This particular variant comes fully equipped with all the features and technology.
Its list of features includes a panoramic glass roof, ambient lighting, connected vehicle tech, VisionX augmented reality head-up display, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos, Level 2 advanced driver assistance system, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, etc.
Powering this variant is a single electric motor capable of producing 282 bhp and 380 Nm of torque. This variant also gets the larger 79 kWh battery pack, which offers a range of 682 km on a single full charge.

John Abraham and AR Rahman
Apart from Milind Deora, there are a number of other popular celebrities and politicians who have test-driven and experienced the Mahindra BE 6 along with the XEV 9E. The first person from Bollywood to check out these new electric SUVs was John Abraham. He was shown the Mahindra BE 6 and XEV 9E at his residence, from where he took both of them on test drives simultaneously.
He stated that both of these SUVs are very bold and futuristic and have all the features and gizmos inside. John Abraham added that his personal favorite is the Mahindra BE 6. Apart from him, legendary music composer AR Rahman was shown these SUVs. For those who may not be aware, AR Rahman has helped Mahindra in curating the sounds for the BE 6 and XEV 9E.
HD Kumaraswamy and Nitin Gadkari
As for the politicians who have tested the Mahindra, recently, HD Kumaraswamy, Union Minister of Heavy Industries, was given a test ride of the BE 6 and XEV 9E. Following the drive, he stated that Mahindra Automotive has come a long way since it started. They are now promoting the agenda of “Aatma Nirbhar Bharat.” Kumaraswamy also added that these vehicles are so advanced that they can compete with other vehicles from any manufacturer in the world.
In addition to Kumaraswamy, Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, was shown both of these SUVs at his residence in New Delhi. He stated that he feels very proud as both of these electric cars can compete with any car brand from the globe. Gadkari added that the future of Indian mobility is electric.

Lastly, the Prince of Udaipur, Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, also test-drove both of these SUVs. He highlighted that the design of both Mahindra EVs is unique, and when his kids saw the car for the first time, they actually thought it was an alien vehicle. He also added that he is proud that an Indian car manufacturer like Mahindra has managed to build a car like this, and that too in India.
