Indian Entrepreneur Who Owns Mercedes G-Wagen, Porsche Taycan Shares Picture Of Ramshackle First House

A lot of millionaires, when they attain success, forget their roots. However, there are numerous ones who never forget where they come from. Recently, a popular entrepreneur and YouTuber who currently resides in Dubai shared images of his childhood home in Orissa. In his post, he highlighted the journey of 17 years of pure hard work that he had to undertake. This entrepreneur, who grew up in a small city in Orissa, now drives a Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG and a Porsche Taycan electric sedan.
The images of this entrepreneur’s childhood home have been shared on X by him. His name is Soumendra Jena, and for those who may not be aware, he is an entrepreneur and YouTuber with over 4.8 lakh subscribers on his channel. Over the last few years, he has been staying in Dubai after moving there in 2021. In this post, he shows the small house in which he grew up.
Jena, in the image, can be seen accompanied by his wife and his son. They were all standing in front of the very small house with cement walls and a roof made of metal sheets, tarps, and bricks on top. Alongside this picture, he also shared a picture of his bungalow in Dubai. His cars — a Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG and a Porsche Taycan — were also parked right in front.
As per the post, Jena was born in Rourkela, a small town in Orissa. He spent his entire childhood there and studied till 12th standard in the same place, from 1988 to 2006. Following this, he studied hard and founded a company named Jetspot Networks. Later, in 2021, he moved to Dubai. Presently, he has a YouTube channel with over 4.8 lakh subscribers.
When Jena lived in India, he owned a Mercedes-Benz G350d luxury SUV. However, when he moved to Dubai from India, he bought himself a Porsche Taycan electric sedan. This super-powerful sedan from the German automaker comes in four different variants: Taycan RWD, Taycan 4S, Taycan Turbo, and Taycan Turbo S.
The top-of-the-line Turbo S variant comes equipped with dual electric motors placed on each axle. In total, it generates 761 PS and 1050 Nm. Also, what makes this sedan even more interesting is that all the power is sent to all four wheels. Porsche claims a top speed of an electronically-restricted 260 kmph and a 0-100 kmph sprint in just 2.8 seconds. In India, the Porsche Taycan starts at Rs 1.89 crore and goes up to Rs 2.53 crore.
Apart from this, as mentioned above, the entrepreneur also owns a 2025 Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG in Dubai. This particular SUV is finished in a classy shade of Obsidian Black. He has also opted for a VIP registration number, “6307.” For those who may not be aware, in Dubai, number plates with fewer digits have a lot of value. The most expensive number plate sold in Dubai, “D5,” was bought by an Indian-origin entrepreneur, Balvinder Sahni, for Rs 80 crore.
Coming back to the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG, more commonly known as the G-Wagen, it is powered by a hand-built 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 motor. It makes 585 bhp and 850 Nm of torque. Transmission duties are handled by a 9-speed DCT with paddle shifters, and it has a top speed of 240 kmph. Despite its size and brick-like aerodynamics, the G-Wagen can sprint from 0-100 kmph in just 4.3 seconds.
