Upcoming Tata Sierra Gets An Unofficial, AI-Generated TVC!

Artificial Intelligence has come a long way from where it started. Initially, it was used to create some images, which did not yield the best results. However, now people are generating extremely realistic images as well as videos. Recently, India's first AI-generated TVC (Television Commercial) of the upcoming Tata Sierra SUV has been shared online. It has to be noted that it is not an official TVC from Tata Motors. Rather, it has been created to show how the vehicle will look in real life.

India's first AI-generated TVC

This AI-generated Tata Sierra TVC has been shared on YouTube by Kapil Dev Anand on their channel. It starts off with a glimpse of the front end and headlights of the upcoming Sierra. The TVC shows the dual LED projector headlights with LED DRLs getting turned on, following which the vehicle is seen in motion and hitting an ice wall.

Soon after this, the vehicle is then shown in the scorching desert heat over sand dunes. We can note that the attention to detail in this TVC is amazing, and from a glance, it looks very real. The vehicle is then seen driving on the dunes, and in the next clip, it is shown drifting on a snow-capped mountain road, following which the TVC presents the Sierra in a valley.

Moving on, the Sierra is again shown driving on the sand dunes. It can be seen jumping off the dunes. The scene then changes to the backwaters of Kerala, and finally, this AI-generated TVC ends with the Tata Sierra parked in front of a sea with a beautiful sunset in the background.

AI is getting brilliant by the day

Each and every day, artificial intelligence is becoming better. People are now using AI to create images and videos and are increasing their productivity. What AI is also helping companies with is saving money. If we take the above TVC, for example, if Tata Motors decides to create a real-life TVC mimicking the same scenarios, it will cost a lot of money.

However, this AI-generated TVC might cost them a lot less than actually producing a similar result in real life. Most likely, more companies in the future will be using AI to create similar TVCs and marketing material to promote their vehicles and other products.

Tata Sierra

Now coming to the Tata Sierra, the company will first be launching the Sierra.ev in India. Most likely, it will be launched by the festive season of this year or before the end of this year, following which it will be launching the ICE version of the Sierra. The Sierra.ev is expected to get the same powertrain as the Tata Harrier.ev.

Currently, the Harrier.ev gets a dual-motor setup making 316 PS and 500 Nm of torque with QWD. Meanwhile, the other is an RWD single-motor variant, which makes 235 PS of power and 315 Nm of torque. Battery pack options include 75 kWh and 65 kWh units offering ranges of 627 and 538 km, respectively. As for the ICE Sierra, most likely it will get the new 1.5-litre TGDi turbo petrol engine and the time-tested 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel engine.
