India’s First 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado Selling At Rs. 2.65 Crore: Costs As Much As Land Cruiser LC300!

Toyota is one of those brands that has managed to get buyers’ attention in the Indian market by offering fuss-free and reliable cars. The Fortuner and Innova are some of the best examples of the same. Apart from these, Toyota is also offering expensive models like the Vellfire and even the LC300 in India officially. Many Toyota models are not officially available in India, but there are people who often import these cars and get them registered here. Here we have one such brand-new Land Cruiser Prado, which is imported from the UK and is actually up for sale.
The video has been shared by Mr. JO on his Instagram page. In this video, we see a brand-new Land Cruiser Prado, which is the J250 series model, at a dealership in Kochi, Kerala. The video mentions that this is India’s Land Cruiser Prado. We have seen several other videos of the Prado from different parts of the country. We feel the reason why it is being addressed as the first Land Cruiser Prado in India is probably because this is the first diesel variant to come to India.
The SUV is finished in a beautiful shade of pearl white with black accents. The SUV features a boxy design, giving it a utilitarian and rugged look. It has a large front grille with Toyota branding, rectangular headlamps with LED lights, LED fog lamps on the bumper, and a rugged-looking skid plate at the front.
It is the top-spec variant, which comes loaded with features like a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, JBL sound system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, leather interiors, panoramic sunroof, electrically adjustable seats, ventilated seats, and so on.
The J250 is actually sold as Toyota’s flagship SUV in some markets where the more expensive LC300 is not available. The Prado 250 is 4,920 mm long, 1,980 mm wide, and 1,870 mm tall.
The SUV is based on a new platform that offers improved stiffness and rigidity. The Prado 250 also comes with increased wheel articulation, an upgraded Multi-Terrain Monitor interface, and key improvements to the off-road driving modes. Toyota is also offering a disconnecting front anti-roll bar, which can be disengaged via a switch on the dashboard to allow for maximum wheel articulation on particularly challenging off-road courses.
As mentioned above, this is probably the first diesel Prado to come to India. It is powered by a 2.8-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged engine that generates 201 Bhp and 500 Nm of peak torque.
The SUV seen here is probably the automatic version. It has been imported directly from the UK and is an RHD version. The SUV was imported by Harman Motors, a used luxury and premium car dealer in Kochi, Kerala. The SUV has 0 km on the odometer and is unregistered. This is a 2025 model SUV and the asking price for this SUV is Rs 2.65 crore.
It should be noted that the Prado seen here is as expensive as the LC300, which is a bigger SUV than the Prado. The reason why it is so expensive is mainly because it was imported, and the firm would have paid all the duties to get the car into India even before finding a buyer. For your reference, a brand-new Land Cruiser LC300 costs around Rs 2.41 crore, ex-showroom in India. But it also has a waiting period of almost 4 years, whereas the J250 is readily available.
Interested buyers can get in touch with Harman Motors at 8086899992 or visit their dealership directly at Metro Pillar No. 342, Pathadippalam, Edapally, Ernakulam, Kerala.
