Inside the Multi-Crore Car Collection Of Sunrisers Hyderabad Owner Kavya Maran [Video]

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) is a popular team in the Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket. It is owned by the media baron Kalanithi Maran of the Sun Group, and his daughter, Kavya Maran, who serves as the CEO. Kavya is often seen cheering for SRH in many of their matches. The father and daughter are known for their high-profile lifestyle and expensive garage. Previously, a video from Chennai revealed the Maran family’s extravagant car collection, and it's as impressive as you’d expect.
As shown in the video, posted by Crazy Cars Chennai on YouTube, the Maran family has everything from ultra-luxury sedans to expensive, high-performance sports cars in their garage.
The crown jewel in the Maran family’s garage is the Rolls Royce Phantom VIII Extended Wheelbase (EWB). Priced at a staggering ₹12.04 crore, on-road, it’s one of the most expensive cars on Indian roads. The sedan is finished in an elegant light gold shade with a black upper half and rides on 21-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels.
Under the hood, it houses a massive 6.75-litre V12 twin-turbocharged petrol engine that delivers 571 bhp and 900 Nm of torque and comes paired with an automatic gearbox. The power is sent to the rear wheels. It’s likely that this car is primarily used by Kalanithi Maran himself.
Next up is the Ferrari Roma. Finished in the iconic Rosso Corsa red, the Marans' Roma grabs attention instantly. The sleek coupe also features silver alloy wheels and yellow brake calipers, perfectly matching the Ferrari Scuderia shields (scudetto- the handpainted fender emblems) on the sides.
The Roma has an ex-showroom price of around Rs 3.7 crores in India. It is powered by a 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that pushes out 690 PS and 760 Nm of torque and comes mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, delivering power to the rear wheels alone. Its design remains the biggest talking point of the Roma.
Another standout member of the Maran collection is the Bentley Bentayga Extended Wheelbase (EWB). This ultra-luxury SUV is finished in a deep Candy Red colourway, complete with striking 22-inch turbine-style alloy wheels.
The EWB version is 180 mm longer than the regular Bentayga, enhancing rear seat space and comfort. Powering it is a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine, producing 550 PS and 770 Nm of torque. The transmission on offer is an 8-speed automatic unit. With the ex-showroom price starting at Rs 4.1 crores and going up to 6 Cr, this Bentley SUV is built for those who want performance with unmatched luxury.
Rounding out the collection is the BMW i7, the flagship electric sedan from the German automaker. Kavya Maran owns it in the classy Black Sapphire Metallic shade- proper CEO choice!
The i7 uses dual electric motors—one on each axle—to produce a combined output of 544 horsepower and 745 Nm of torque. It draws power from a large 101.7 kWh battery and offers a range of 591 to 625 km as per the WLTP cycle. With a top speed of 239 kmph and 0 to 100 kph time of under 4.7 seconds, it packs a desirable proposition. The ex-showroom price of the i7 starts at 2.03 Cr, and the top-spec comes with a sticker price of 2.50 Cr.
In short, the Maran family’s car collection is a perfect mix of class and style. Whether it's a red carpet event or a cricket match day, their rides ensure they arrive in style, and are always noticed.
