Amitabh Bachchan Shares Video Of Homemade 7-Seater E-Bike That Can Go 200 Km/Charge

The legendary Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan is not only famous on the big screen, but he is equally popular on social media as well. He currently has over 37 million followers on Instagram, and he uses this platform to share the projects he is working on. However, recently, the actor shared a reel via his official account that shows the creativity of the young people in India. In this short clip, a young kid has made a solar-powered electric scooter that can seat up to seven people.
As mentioned, Amitabh Bachchan has shared this video of the unique creation via his official Instagram account. In this short reel, the cameraman stops an electric scooter with seven children sitting on it. He then asks what this vehicle is. To this, the young man driving replies that this is an electric scooter that he has created by himself.
The young man mentions that it has been entirely made of scrap parts and costs around Rs 8,000-10,000. Following this, he mentions that it recharges with the help of the solar panels that have been custom-fitted. Also, the man highlights that this electric scooter can be driven up to 200 km. And if the sun is shining bright, it can go even further.
Generally, Amitabh Bachchan does not share such unique videos on his Instagram page. He mostly shares teasers and advertisements in which he acts or wants to promote. However, most likely, this video caught his attention as a young man has made this solar-powered electric scooter at his home. It could also be possible that Mr. Bachchan wants to promote the message that inventions do not necessarily come from multinational companies and research and development labs.
Speaking of solar-powered vehicles, last month at the Bharat Mobility Auto Expo, Vayve Mobility, an automotive startup, launched its first solar-powered electric car called the Eva in India. This particular electric hatchback starts at Rs 3.25 lakh and goes up to Rs 5.99 lakh. It is being offered in three variants, which get different sizes of battery packs.
The base variant gets a 9 kWh battery pack. Meanwhile, the mid variant gets 12 kWh, and the top-of-the-line variant gets an 18 kWh battery pack. As per Vayve Mobility, the maximum range provided by the Eva with the 18 kWh battery pack is 250 km. This vehicle is also offered with a battery-as-a-subscription model.
It can reach a top speed of 70 kmph and gets a liquid-cooled battery. Additionally, 0-40 kmph happens in 5 seconds. The main highlight of the Eva is that the company provides it with an optional solar roof, which can provide up to 3,000 km of free charging annually. The company estimates that it covers 30 percent of typical urban driving needs.
Other features of the Vayve Mobility Eva include a panoramic sunroof and smartphone integration. Overall, it is a small, zippy electric vehicle that can be used by people who live in extremely congested cities.
