Here, we have one such video where a social media influencer drives a Mahindra BE6 EV and is blown away by the performance.

The video has been shared by yellowghost_6666 on his Instagram page. The owner of the BE6, who is a social media influencer, takes his BE6 EV to his friend Joji Thampi, who is also popular in Kerala for creating car-related content.

The owner of the BE6 gives the key to Joji and asks him to drive the car. It looks like Joji has not driven the Mahindra EV before. He gets into the seat, and as soon as he starts driving, he is genuinely surprised by the level of refinement and power.

He is driving the car through narrow Kerala roads in his area, and he is so surprised that there is a wide grin on his face. The car is actually being driven through a busy road, and the driver is still having fun. While Joji is still getting used to the power and performance of the BE6, the owner tells his friend that he has been driving the car in Eco Mode.

Joji is surprised to hear that, and then the owner of the BE6 switches the car to Race mode. This completely changes the character of the vehicle, and we start seeing Joji’s eyes go wide. He was not expecting the car to perform in such a manner. They drive the car through the busy roads, and then the video ends.

Most people who have not driven an EV are surprised when they get a chance to drive one. Unlike petrol and diesel cars, the acceleration is instant, as there is minimal power loss. This immediate power and torque, combined with the extremely silent cabin, makes the experience completely different for many.

The Mahindra BE6 is currently one of the most powerful electric SUVs in its segment. It was launched in the market earlier this year, and deliveries commenced a few months ago. The BE6 gets a design that many young buyers may find attractive.

It is packed with premium features like active air vents, 20-inch wheels, drop-down LED DRLs, connected LED tail lamps with welcome function, illuminated BE logo on the steering wheel, electrically adjustable seats with memory function, Level 2 ADAS, automatic wipers and headlamps, HUD, Harman Kardon speaker system, large touchscreen infotainment system, fully digital instrument cluster, and so on.

The Mahindra BE6 is available with two battery pack options: 59 kWh and 79 kWh. The smaller battery pack offers a claimed driving range of 535 km, while the larger one provides up to 682 km.

The smaller battery version generates 228 Bhp and 380 Nm of peak torque. The 79 kWh version generates 282 Bhp and 380 Nm of torque. The price for a brand-new Mahindra BE6 starts at Rs 18.90 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs 26.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
