Jeep Wrangler in India Shows Off Off-Roading Pedigree By Effortlessly Scaling Dealership Wall! [Video]

In India, when we talk about SUVs or off-roading, there are a few brands like Mahindra that come to mind. Internationally, things are slightly different. Brands like Jeep are often associated with off-roading. The American SUV brand is present in India too, and they have been selling some of their models in our market. While we have seen several videos online where the Jeep Wrangler and other SUVs showcase their off-road prowess on various terrains, here we have a video where a Jeep Wrangler owner is seen taking advantage of the vehicle’s capabilities in the urban jungle.
The video has been shared by an Instagram user by the name kingofheartszz on his profile. The video was recorded somewhere in Hyderabad city. We see a brand new Jeep Wrangler Rubicon coming toward the camera on a public road. The hazard lamps of the SUV are turned on, and the SUV slows down.
The person turns the car toward the footpath. The Jeep dealership was on the roadside, and the driveway and parking area of the dealership were actually constructed in such a way that they were higher than the footpath. The Jeep Wrangler was first driven over the footpath. Just after that, the vertical wall of the dealership parking came, and the Wrangler in its stock form managed to climb up.
The SUV did it effortlessly, which shows how capable it actually is. It initially looked like the front bumper and the underbody of the SUV might hit the concrete section, but it didn’t. The front wheels climbed up effortlessly, and so did the rear ones. The driver parked the vehicle in front of the dealership after this.
It is possible that the SUV seen here in the video was actually a demo vehicle at the dealership, and the person driving the car took it out for a test drive. On their way back, the dealership staff may have asked the customer to drive over this section to show off the vehicle's capabilities, as it is difficult to find an off-road section in the city.
We are pretty sure that the person behind the steering wheel was happy with the overall experience. The Jeep Rubicon seen here in the video is a 5-door SUV that has been on sale in our market for years. The SUV seen here is finished in a white shade, and this is the updated version which came to our market last year.
The SUV is huge and comes with a decent number of premium features like a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Nappa leather, a 7-inch digital instrument gauge cluster, an 8/9-speaker sound system from Alpine, and so on. The Rubicon is powered by a 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. This engine generates 268 PS and 400 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and comes with a 4x4 feature as well.
The price for a brand new Jeep Rubicon starts at Rs 67.65 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes all the way up to Rs 73.24 lakh (ex-showroom) for the recently launched Willys 41 Special Edition.
