Stage 2 Tuned Honda Jazz With RS Body Kit Looks Spectacular [Video]

Car modifications of any sort are actually considered illegal in India. However, that has not stopped people from modifying their prized possessions. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that each modification on a car or bike is actually a reflection of the owner’s taste. We have featured several cars on our website where the modifications have, at times, cost more than the actual value of the vehicle. Here, we have a video of a Honda Jazz from Kerala that has been tastefully modified by its owner.
The video has been shared by Prejimon Pradeep on his YouTube channel. In this video, the vlogger talks to the owner of the Honda Jazz and asks him about the modifications and their cost.
We have not seen many Honda Jazz modifications lately on the internet. This premium hatchback was known for its spacious cabin and reliability. The owner of this Honda Jazz had bought the car for his mother and later decided to get it modified.
The first thing he did to the car was replace the stock wheels with aftermarket ones. After the wheels, he started looking for exterior customisation kits, and when he couldn’t find a suitable one in India, he got an RS-type kit imported from China. The body kit included an RS-type grille, bumper, side skirts, rear bumper, and diffuser. He mentions that this was one of the first Jazz cars in India to get this RS kit.
Apart from this, the owner also got the engine tuned. He mentions that the stock Jazz felt underpowered and the CVT was making things difficult for him. So, he decided to go with a stage 2 tune on the car. After tuning, the owner mentions that the car feels more fun to drive and quicker. He also got an aftermarket exhaust (valvetronic) installed on the car for a better sound.
The latest addition to the car is actually the air suspension. The owner mentions he never had plans to install an air suspension on this car. However, one thing led to another and he ended up installing one. He mentions that the ride does get bumpy at times because of the air suspension.
He also talks about the customisations done to the interior. The stock seat covers have been replaced with custom ones that are done in a shade similar to the exterior of the car. The dual-tone shade looks good on the car.
The infotainment screen and instrument cluster remain stock; however, the audio system has been upgraded. Overall, the owner has spent over ₹3 lakh on just modifications to date. He mentions that he is not done with the mods and is planning to get a carbon-dipped bonnet with air vents for the Jazz in the near future.
Apart from this, the owner also owns a Toyota Fortuner and a Mercedes-Benz C-Class. The Honda Jazz is just being used as a project car. After the Jazz, he has plans to modify the Fortuner, but he has not yet found a good idea that can be implemented. Overall, the bagged Honda Jazz does look good and is a one-of-a-kind car.
