Entrepreneur Who Spent 46 Lakh For Fancy Number Takes Delivery Of His Lamborghini Urus Performante

Lamborghini has become very popular among rich businessmen and celebrities in India. Recently, we came across a report where a businessman from Kerala bought a brand-new Urus Performante SUV. The reason why this car made it to the headlines was because of its number plate. The owner of this car spent Rs 46 lakh just on the fancy number alone. The images of the car were available till yesterday, but now we have a video where we see the owner taking delivery of his new Lamborghini Urus.
The video has been shared by Venu Gopalakrishnan on his Instagram profile. He is actually the owner of the Lamborghini Urus that has been a talking point on the internet for the last couple of days. In the video, we see Venu at Lamborghini’s dealership in Bengaluru.
The Italian sports car brand only has dealerships in limited cities in India. He probably booked the SUV and made all the customisations in advance. In this video, the owner and his family visited the dealership just to take the delivery.
After completing all the paperwork, the owner finally unveils the car. The car is finished in a very unique shade of green. It looks like Lamborghini’s Verde Mantis shade, but we could be wrong as well.
The owner then checks out the car, and we get to see the interior and exterior of the car too. The owner has opted for an all-black theme for the cabin with green inserts on the seats and some panels.
As this is the Performante version, we also see the branding of the same on the seats. It is actually Lamborghini’s first-ever 4-door vehicle as well as an SUV in the market. The Urus received an overwhelming response from customers around the world.
In India, it became the fastest-selling Lamborghini. Coming back to the video, the owner, along with his family members, has a wide smile on their faces, as this is an achievement in their life. The Urus seen here also happens to be the first Performante in Kerala.
The Urus Performante was officially launched in India in 2022. It is a refreshed version of the Urus that generates slightly more power than the older version. The Performante has a coil spring setup that replaces the air suspension in the older version. However, the air suspension can still be found in the Urus S.
The Urus Performante also replaced three off-road modes—Sabbia (Sand), Neve (Snow), and Terra (Mud)—with a single Rally mode. The SUV is also 20 mm lower, 16 mm wider, and 25 mm longer than the older model.
It gets cosmetic changes like cooling vents on the bonnet, an aggressive-looking front bumper, and a redesigned rear bumper. The design of the alloy wheels on the Urus Performante is also different from before.
The Lamborghini Urus Performante is powered by the same 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V8 engine that generates 666 PS and 850 Nm of peak torque. The Performante version generates 16 PS more power than the older version. The torque figures, however, remain the same. A brand-new standard Urus Performante would cost you over ₹4 crore (ex-showroom). Depending on the customisations, the cost would go up even more.
