Kia Syros Owner Who Drives 4,000 Kms Per Month Reveals Why He Chose It Over Mahindra XUV 3XO [Video]

The Kia Syros is currently one of the most popular mid-size SUVs in the market. It has managed to carve out a niche for itself in the already crowded market because of the space and unique features that it offers. Recently, an owner of a Kia Syros shared why he bought this SUV over the Mahindra XUV 3XO. He mentioned that, according to him, this is the most value-for-money car among the XUV 3XO as well as others.
The two-month ownership review of the Kia Syros has been shared on YouTube by Drive With Leen on their channel. It starts off with the host introducing the Kia Syros and its owner, following which she starts asking him questions about his latest vehicle and what made him choose it over its rivals.
Following the introduction, the host asks the owner about the exact variant and pricing of his Syros. To this, he mentions that he has opted for the HTX Plus DCT Automatic variant. He highlighted that it is the base automatic variant in the Kia lineup. He added that he bought it due to a tight budget but wanted something that was the most "value-for-money" option.
The owner added that this particular variant gets all the necessary features for daily use. As for the pricing, he mentioned that he paid Rs 15 lakh for his SUV. He also stated that this vehicle was primarily chosen for his father, who is now getting old and needed a spacious car with an automatic gearbox.
When the host asked about other cars that were on their list of options, the owner highlighted that they were considering the Mahindra XUV 3XO. However, as they wanted something with slightly less power and more interior space, they opted for the Syros. He also added that the features are almost the same in the Mahindra XUV 3XO and the Syros.
Following this, the host asked the Syros owner about his daily commute with the car. To this, he mentioned that his daily commute includes driving from Noida to Gurugram, which is a 2.5-hour drive that covers 3,000 to 4,000 kilometers per month. The owner added that the driving experience is very smooth due to the light steering, well-tuned suspension, and premium feel of the cabin.
He also added that the visibility is very good due to the narrow A-pillar. Moving on, the host asked the owner about the mileage being offered by the Syros. To this, he replied that in the city, this sub-compact SUV offers around 14–15 kmpl mileage. The highway mileage is around 17 kmpl, and in high-speed driving, it offered 11.5 kmpl mileage.
During the drive review, the owner mentioned that he enjoys the headroom offered in this vehicle over the XUV 3XO. He added that it is more spacious than the Mahindra XUV 3XO. The host and the owner also agreed that the design with green accents specific to this variant looks very pleasant. Overall, the owner highlighted that he is very happy with his choice.
