Multi-Crore Lamborghini Huracan Passes Under Toll Barrier: Toll Collectors Stunned [Video]

The number of sports cars and supercars in India has gone up in the last 10 years. With new and wider highways connecting most cities, the chances of spotting an expensive sports car on highways have also increased. We have seen several videos where supercars are driven fast and even cause accidents. However, have you ever seen a supercar owner escape from a toll plaza on a highway without paying the toll? Well, we have a video that shows just that.
The video has been shared by Cars Lover on their YouTube channel. In this video, we see a black Lamborghini Huracán sports car approaching a toll gate. The toll plazas in India now use FASTags, and when a car like a Lamborghini approaches a toll gate, the staff at the counter gets excited to see such an expensive car.
They expect that a high-end car like this will have a FASTag installed. We are not sure if the car had a FASTag on the windshield or not. The supercar slowed down in front of the barrier, and the driver slowly started driving forward. A sports car like a Lamborghini is low-slung, and the driver took advantage of this. He simply drove forward and passed through the toll plaza without paying.
The toll plaza staff was amazed as they did not expect something like this to happen. If you look carefully, the Huracán does not have a registration number either. The toll plaza staff came out of the cabin, but by then, the car had already crossed the barrier.
The video was recorded by a car behind the Huracán. It seems like the person in the vehicle behind knew the driver of the sports car, and this act was done intentionally. We say this because the phone recording the video focuses on the car as it passes through.
It almost feels like the person knew that the Huracán driver was going to do something like this. This video has gone viral on various social media platforms. In some posts, people are mocking the system, saying that the Huracán owner has paid crores in road tax and therefore decided not to pay the toll. A brand new Huracan costs anywhere between Rs 4 crore to Rs 4.99 crore, ex-showroom in India.
In other posts, people are asking viewers to share their opinions about this act. Some comments even appreciate what the Lamborghini owner did, supporting him by saying that despite paying crores in road tax, he still has to drive on bad roads.
The barriers at most toll plazas in India are placed at a height suitable for common cars in the country. There is enough gap between the barrier and the road for a low-slung sports car to pass through easily.
We do not recommend anyone attempt such stunts on the road, as they may land you in trouble with the authorities. Once again, we are not sure if the driver did this intentionally or was unaware that the toll gate had not opened.
