Lamborghini Tyre Comes Off Rim In Chennai: Raymond CEO Gautam Singhania Questions Quality [Video]

Lamborghini supercars and Super SUVs have become much more common on Indian roads. Not just Lamborghini, but there is also a sizable population of supercar owners in India, and we have featured some of them on our website in the past. We have seen normal cars with flat tires on the road, but rarely have we seen a supercar in such a situation. Well, we have a video from Chennai that shows just that. The tire of a Lamborghini supercar came off the rim in Chennai.

The video was shared by Mani Kandan on his Instagram page. In this video, we see a black Lamborghini Aventador being pulled to the side of the road. As per the comment section, the car was on East Coast Road in Tamil Nadu. At first, everything seems normal in this video.

Then you notice that the rear tire of the Lamborghini is completely damaged. It looks like the owner of the supercar didn’t realize that the tire had gone flat and was driving with it. The tire is shredded into small pieces and had come off the rim. One interesting thing about the comment section under this video is that billionaire businessman from India, Gautam Singhania, also commented.

He wrote, “Poor quality tires on the Lambo – quality and issue?” We all know that Gautam Singhania is a car enthusiast and has several expensive and exotic cars in his garage. He often imports expensive cars to India via Carnet. The reason he posted a comment questioning Lamborghini’s quality is likely due to his recent experience with the car.

Gautam Singhania was recently spotted driving a Lamborghini Revuelto supercar. He didn’t buy the car and was simply taking it for a test drive. However, his test drive experience didn’t end well. The billionaire businessman posted on his profile that he took the new Revuelto for a drive and ended up stranded on the trans-harbor link due to a complete electrical failure.

He questioned the reliability of Lamborghini and claimed that he has come across a couple of similar incidents recently. The Lamborghini seen in the video is not a plug-in hybrid sports car, and the issue with the car is not technical.

There are several reasons why we feel the tire came off the rim. We all know that cars like Lamborghinis are extremely expensive to maintain. We are not sure if the owner was maintaining the car properly. The condition of the tire could have deteriorated over time, and the owner might not have noticed it.

Another reason is that the car might have hit an object on the ECR and got a puncture. Lamborghinis use low-profile tires, and they get easily damaged if you’re not careful. Low tire pressure could also have contributed to the situation. Lamborghinis are extremely powerful, and they can easily wear out the tires if proper pressure is not maintained.

Whatever the case may be, the owner of the car has ended up with a damaged tire, and he’ll probably have to change at least both rear tires, which is going to cost him in lakhs.
