Rs 1.5 Crore Land Rover Defender Becomes Farm Vehicle Carrying Fodder [Video]
The Land Rover Defender has become one of the most hyped luxury SUVs in India. A lot of wealthy Bollywood celebrities, businessmen, and athletes have bought it and are seen driving regularly. Now, most of these Defenders are seen on paved roads. However, there are some people who are using their Defenders for farming and transporting cow dung. Recently, a video has been shared online in which a man was seen transporting fodder with his Land Rover Defender.
Land Rover Defender becomes farm vehicle
The video showing a Land Rover Defender being used at a farm has been shared on Instagram by Shiv Raghuvanshi on their page. It starts off with a man carrying fodder on his shoulder. The clip cuts to the scene where the same fodder was loaded on the roof of this Defender and it was being driven through the farm.
After which, the vehicle is taken to the home of this farmer and he can be seen chopping up the fodder. Finally, he then washes his Defender in his home and the video shows cinematic clips of this process. This particular Defender is finished in the classy shade of Satin Black.
Not the first time
This is not the first time that a Land Rover Defender is being used for something which one may not expect. A little while ago, another video was shared in which the mother of a Defender owner was seen loading up cow dung cakes in the rear of the luxury SUV. This video became viral online, garnering a lot of attention.
Has the Defender become the new Thar?
If you are a car lover and have been scrolling through social media, you must have seen that the fan following for the Land Rover Defender is a lot. There are a number of people that have bought this SUV and share their delivery videos. It seems like, at this point, the Defender has become the new Thar or Fortuner as it has become the next biggest upgrade.
There are a ton of influencers and politicians as well who own this SUV. Due to this, it has become a vehicle which a lot of people now associate with power and wealth. Thankfully, people who own the Defender are not seen doing stupid stunts like Thar owners.
Citizen asked ex-CM to buy Defender
A little while ago, a video became viral online. In this video, a man was seen asking Rajasthan’s former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot to buy a new Defender. He told him that he should upgrade from his 13-year-old Tata Safari Storme to a black Land Rover Defender. The man stated that other politicians change their cars every five years.
However, he has been driving his old Safari for a long time and now he should buy a black Defender. To this, Gehlot asked him what a Defender is, and the man replied that it is a very good SUV which he should buy. Presently, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin uses a Land Rover Defender as his official vehicle. Also, actor and MP Sunny Deol owns two Defenders — an Octa and a 110.
