Late Singer Sidhu Moosewala's Bulletproof Toyota Fortuner Gets Professionally Restored [Video]
The late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, although no longer with us, has a name and legacy that still live on. He was one of the most well-known singers from Punjab, and unfortunately, in May 2022, he was shot by a team of hitmen sent by notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Recently, a video has been shared online in which a popular YouTuber visited his home and helped Sidhu Moosewala's family restore his favorite vehicle, a bulletproof Toyota Fortuner.
Sidhu Moosewala's Fortuner Restoration
This video, showing the detailed restoration project of Sidhu Moosewala's Toyota Fortuner, has been shared on YouTube by Rajni Chaudhary on their channel. It starts with the vlogger providing context for the video. She mentioned that she had recently visited Sidhu Moosewala's family and asked if she could help them by restoring Sidhu Moosewala's bulletproof Fortuner.
Following this, she highlighted that she was given permission for the restoration of the famed singer's favorite car by his father. During the video, the vlogger mentions that for this task, she assembled a team and bought all the necessary equipment. The list of equipment she purchased included dual-action polishers, a vacuum cleaner, compounds and polishes for paint correction, and various tools like brushes to clean the interior.
Next, the vlogger went on to add that, with her small effort, these men have now formed a team and are working as professional detailers. She also stated that she chose the name for the team, which was “The Legend Detailing.” Following this, the video shows these men thoroughly washing the SUV.
After the foam wash, these detailers were seen cleaning each and every exterior panel of the Fortuner with a clay bar. For those who may not be aware, a clay bar is a ball resembling children's playdough and is used to completely clean the surface of a vehicle.
Sidhu Moosewala's Old Home
While the detailing work was being done on his car, the host was first taken to the farm of Sidhu Moosewala, where he used to give all his interviews. Following this, she also got a chance to visit Sidhu Moosewala's old home, where he used to write all his songs.
After returning to the newest home built by the singer, the vlogger was provided with a home-cooked lunch. She then checked out Sidhu Moosewala's other cars, including the Mahindra Thar, in which he was shot by gang members of notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. She also showed the singer's favorite tractors, which were fully modified by him with speakers and other unique features.
Finally, after the restoration was completed, the vehicle was presented to the singer's family, who truly appreciated this gesture from the YouTuber. The car was given a complete exterior wash and a two-step paint correction, followed by an interior cleaning using a vacuum cleaner, with all the hard-to-reach parts cleaned using brushes and an all-purpose cleaner. Lastly, the car's exterior was given a ceramic coating to protect the freshly restored paint.
