Many consider the Mahindra BE 6 electric SUV the craziest-looking affordable production car in India. It has become popular because of its sharp edges and extremely aggressive overall design. Now, when a BE 6 is seen on the road, it already stands out a lot. However, recently a video was shared online in which a BE 6 got wrapped in a wild-looking yellow-colored wrap, making it look even crazier.
Crazy yellow wrap on the Mahindra BE 6
The video showing the Mahindra BE 6 getting a crazy yellow wrap has been shared on Instagram by Motorik on their page. It starts off with a white-colored Mahindra BE 6 being disassembled at the shop and prepared for the wrap. Following this, the video shows the SUV getting a matte yellow-colored wrap at the rear.
After this, we can note that the rear quarter panels and the brake callipers are wrapped in yellow. The gloss black claddings of the SUV are then installed, and the front portion gets a gloss black wrap. Additionally, the side profile gets a splash-effect wrap in black, adding to the unique and sporty character.
Lastly, the badges, which have been blacked out, are installed on the vehicle. In addition to the wrap, the factory-fitted 19-inch alloy wheels have been painted in gloss black as well. To add to the unique appearance, the shop has also added yellow tyre stickers, which make this SUV stand out.
Not the first wrapped BE 6
A few months ago, a video went viral on the internet in which a son surprised his mother with his newly wrapped Mahindra BE 6. This particular owner wrapped his BE 6 in solid yellow and showed it to his mom. In the viral clip, his mom got a little angry and ran to beat him with a small stick. She had earlier told him to keep the BE 6 stock, as all his other cars were also modified, and she wanted one sober car.
Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition
In other Mahindra BE 6 news, the company, on the 79th Independence Day, launched the BE 6 Batman Edition in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products (WBDGCP). Originally, the company announced that only 300 units of this limited edition BE 6 would be produced. However, after gauging the excitement around it, the company increased the total number of units to 999.
The bookings for the BE 6 Batman Edition commenced at 11:00 AM, and within the first 135 seconds, all 999 units were sold out. Mahindra Automotive has allowed customers to select their preferred badge number from 001 to 999. In terms of unique details of the BE 6 Batman Edition, it gets satin black paint, gold-painted suspension components, and brake callipers.
It also gets Batman emblems on hub caps, front quarter panels, rear bumper, windows, and rear windshield. On the inside, this SUV gets a brushed gold Batman Edition plaque with unique numbering and charcoal black leather upholstery with gold stitching. The BE 6 Batman Edition is based on the top-of-the-line Pack Three variant, and it is priced at Rs 27.79 lakh.
This variant comes offered with a 79 kWh battery pack, offering a range of 683 km on a single full charge. As for the motor, it gets a 282 bhp and 380 Nm torque-generating unit powering the rear wheels.
