Scorpio-N’s Global NCAP Safety Rating
The Scorpio-N was crash tested under Global NCAP’s revised and stricter protocols in December 2022. It performed well in these, scoring five stars for Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) and three stars for Child Occupant Protection (COP). In AOP tests, it scored 29.25 points out of 34. In child safety, it scored 28.93 out of 49 points.
The safety suite on the Scorpio-N consists of six airbags, ESP, traction control system, tyre pressure monitoring system, hill-hold control, hill-descent control, driver drowsiness detection system, and more.

Mahindra launched the Scorpio-N in India in June 2022. It is, in fact, an impressive evolution of the legendary Scorpio nameplate. It came with a better design, had a more comfortable cabin, a longer list of features, and much better dynamics.
The top-spec comes with features like a dual-zone climate control, front and rear camera, analog dials with a large central MID, auto start-stop, cruise control, type-C USB ports, wireless charging pad, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 12-speaker Sony 3D surround sound system and connected car features.
A seven seater configuration was standard across variants, while the range-topping trim had a six-seater on offer as well. The SUV soon rose to acceptance.
