Mahindra Scorpio-N Gets Royally Stuck: Rescued By JCB [Video]

The number of off-roading enthusiasts in India is increasing at a rapid pace. This means that a number of people are now taking their 4X4 SUVs to difficult terrains for adventures. Generally, it is recommended that off-roading should be performed in groups. However, sometimes people take a single vehicle for off-roading and then get stuck. Recently, a video of one such Mahindra Scorpio-N, which got royally stuck on a riverbed, has been shared online. This particular SUV was then rescued by a JCB.
This video of the Mahindra Scorpio-N getting rescued by a JCB earthmover has been shared on YouTube by Small Town Rider on their page. It starts off with the vlogger mentioning that he is on his way to rescue one of his friends whose Mahindra got stuck on a riverbed. Following this, he shows his journey to the exact location.
After reaching the spot, he notices that there is already a tractor for the rescue. However, it was then briefed to him that the tractor is unable to rescue the Scorpio-N. He then checks out the vehicle and shows that it has been stuck extremely deeply in the riverbed’s hard mud. Both the front and rear wheels were seen lodged deeply in the mud.
Following this, the vlogger explains that the tractor cannot pull out the vehicle because the tow hook attachment of this SUV has been broken. After this, he then once again assesses the situation and asks the tractor driver to bring a JCB earthmover. Next up, he, along with his friends, goes to the nearby quarry and brings a JCB.
Soon after this, they bring the JCB to the spot and try to pull out the Mahindra Scorpio-N. However, there was no proper attachment point. The vlogger suggested that they need to come up with a different plan. He suggests that they should first remove as much mud from both sides of the SUV to make it easier to remove.
Next up, they attach a strap to the rear right wheel and try to dislodge it with the help of the JCB. At first, the vehicle does not budge; however, after some attempts, it started to move, and finally, the SUV came out of the situation.
As mentioned, this particular incident took place because this Mahindra Scorpio-N was alone in the adventure. Generally, when it comes to off-roading, it is recommended that everyone should go in a group. This is because situations where vehicles can get stuck are very common.
So when there are multiple vehicles, the situations do not get so severe, and SUVs can be easily rescued. Thankfully, in this case, the vlogger was able to find a JCB on time; otherwise, it would have become very difficult to rescue this Mahindra Scorpio-N as it was lodged extremely deeply.
Also, when going on an off-roading adventure, make sure to thoroughly check and prepare the vehicle. In this case, the tow hook attachment was broken, and the vehicle also did not have any equipment for rescue. So make sure to avoid such mistakes when going off-roading.
