Tata and Mahindra are brands that are popular in the market for its build quality. We have seen several instances where vehicles from these brands have saved their passengers from major accidents. Here we have a video that shows how Mahindra Scorpio N and a Tata Harrier performed after they crashed into each other in a headd-on collision.

The video has been shared by the Indian Motorheads on their Instagram page. The exact location or place of this accident is not known. The Tata Harrier SUV seen here is the pre-facelift version and the SUV’s front is also damaged just like the Scorpio N.

It is not clear if these vehicles had lost control due to overspeeding and crashed into each other on a city road or was it something else. Whatever may have been the reason, both SUV’s had a head-on collision and it looks like both the vehicles managed to perform well in the crash.

Starting with Mahindra Scorpio N, the front of the SUV is damaged, The front grille, bumper, bonnet and right side headlamp of the SUV looks damaged. The pillars on the SUV look intact and we do not see any other major damage on the vehicle. Similarly, coming back to Tata Harrier, the SUV’s bonnet, front grille and the bumper look damaged.

Harrier vs Scorpio N in head-on collision

The pre-facelift Tata Harrier never went through an official crash test but, there have been several instances where the SUV has proved that it is as strong as other offerings from Tata.

The facelifted version that got launched last year had scored 5 star rating at the Bharat NCAP crash test. Similarly, the Mahindra Scorpio N is also a popular SUV from the Indian SUV maker. Just like many Mahindra products that got launched in the market recently, Mahindra Scorpio N had also secured 5 star rating at Global NCAP crash test.

Both SUVs performed well and we hope the driver and occupants in the vehicle had escaped the crash without any major injuries. You might be owning a very safe vehicle in terms of build quality but, that doesn’t give you the permission to not drive recklessly on public roads.
