Mahindra Thar ROXX’s C-Pillar Wrapped For Jeep Wrangler Look (Video)
The Mahindra Thar Roxx is currently the most popular SUV in India. Many people are looking at it as a Jeep Wrangler rival for less than half the price. However, to create a distinction between the Jeep Wrangler and Thar Roxx, Mahindra has made the rear-quarter design of the Roxx unique. Unfortunately, many people do not like this design. Recently, a video has been shared online in which a YouTuber has added a modification to make it look like a Wrangler.
This video of Mahindra Thar Roxx’s rear-quarter panel modification has been shared on YouTube by Kuldeep Rao on his channel. It starts off with the vlogger taking his SUV to the RTO office in his city. He mentions that he has to pay the road tax of Rs 1.90 lakh for his new Thar Roxx.
Following this, he leaves the RTO office and reaches the detailing shop. He mentions that the car, when it was delivered, had a few scratches, and there was a lot of paint residue on the bonnet. So, he has come to the detailing shop to get everything sorted and change the ugly-looking rear-quarter glass design.
Mahindra Thar Roxx Rear-Quarter Panel Modification
The vlogger then highlights that, like him, many people do not like the triangular rear-quarter panel of this SUV. To change this, he was advised to add black PPF (Paint Protection Film) over the glass and the rear-quarter panel. He added that the top portion of the rear doors would also be covered.
After the explanation, he shows how the black PPF was applied to his SUV. Finally, after waiting for some time, the final appearance of the SUV with modifications is revealed. He states that it now looks a lot better and appears like the Jeep Wrangler.
Mahindra Thar Roxx Modifications Have Already Begun
As the official deliveries of the Mahindra Thar Roxx have commenced in India, so have the modifications of this highly anticipated SUV. Over the last few days, we have already shared multiple videos and pictures showing people fitting their Thar Roxx SUVs with massive 21-22 inch alloy wheels.
Recently, we shared a video in which the owner who took delivery of his Thar Roxx got it fitted with 22-inch wheels on the same day. He revealed that he also owns a Thar three-door and this 22-inch wheels-and-tyres setup was his spare set. Since he wanted to check the look of this SUV, he immediately added them to his SUV.
India’s Only Yellow Mahindra Thar Roxx
Just a few days ago, a video showing another very unique Mahindra Thar Roxx was also shared online. This particular Thar Roxx is the only one in India that has been painted in yellow. It has been delivered to a Mumbai-based businessman, Swaranjeet Singh Bajaj.
The entire exterior, including the grille, front and rear bumpers, and other parts, has been finished in yellow. Meanwhile, the top section and the rear-quarter panel of this SUV have been painted in high-gloss black. What’s even more interesting is that the complete interior has also been wrapped in yellow and black leather.
Apart from this Thar Roxx in yellow, the owner of this SUV also owns a number of other yellow-colored vehicles. The list includes a yellow Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG, Range Rover Vogue, Bentley Continental GT, and an Audi RSQ8, which was green before, but he got it painted in the same yellow color.
