Mahindra Thar Roxx Deliveries Commence Across India [Video]
Mahindra Thar Roxx is one of the most awaited products from the Indian SUV maker this year. The bookings opened earlier this month, and soon after Dussehra, the car reached dealerships, and deliveries have begun. We all know that the Thar Roxx has received an overwhelming response from buyers. The videos and images of the 5-door Thar’s delivery have started surfacing online.
The video was shared by Kuldeep Rao on his YouTube channel. The YouTuber is sharing his vlog in which he is on his way to take delivery of his new Thar Roxx. The vlogger is, in fact, driving to the dealership in his 3-door Thar with his friends. After reaching the dealership, they park the SUV and walk in.
The vlogger opted for the Thar Roxx in white, and it looks like the top-end diesel automatic 4×4 variant. The SUV is loaded to the brim with features. They check out their SUV, and meanwhile, there are other customers at the dealership who are also there to pick up their new vehicles. We see people taking delivery of the Scorpio N and XUV700 at the dealership.
While the vlogger and his friends were waiting to get their paperwork done, we see another Mahindra Thar Roxx rolling into the dealership. This SUV was also bought by one of his friends. The other Thar Roxx was finished in red, and the vlogger even calls it a Wrangler in the video.
Once all the formalities were finished, the dealership prepared the car for delivery. The vlogger and his friends proceeded with the religious rituals and then drove the SUV out. We even see him drive the SUV for some distance, and he was actually surprised by the way the SUV was performing.
He mentions that the steering feels very light for city use. We even see a kid standing out of the sunroof, which we do not recommend at all. The Mahindra Thar Roxx is a premium SUV that comes with a decent number of features. The Thar Roxx is available in 18 variants and 6 broad trims. It looks like the manufacturer has started delivering the higher variants.
There are 7 exterior colors offered: Stealth Black, Tango Red, Everest White, Deep Forest, Nebula Blue, Battleship Grey, and Burnt Sienna. The interior gets two color choices on the 4×4 variants: Ivory and Mocha. The 4WD hardware is only offered on the MX5, AX5L, and AX7L trims, with automatic 4WD being exclusive to the AX5L and AX7L.
The SUV gets LED DRLs, level 2 ADAS, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, a touchscreen infotainment system, a wireless phone charger, Harman Kardon audio, automatic climate control, and more. The SUV is available with both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol version of the Mahindra Thar Roxx is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine. It is available with both manual and automatic transmission options.
The diesel version of the SUV is powered by a 2.2-litre turbocharged engine. Just like the petrol version, the diesel variants are also offered with manual and automatic transmissions. Only the diesel version gets 4×4 as an option.
