Woman Flips Brand-New Mahindra Thar ROXX From 1st Floor While Taking Delivery [Video]
Taking delivery of a brand-new car is one of the best feelings in the world. A person works extremely hard to be able to afford a car, and bringing it home from the dealership is filled with excitement. Unfortunately, some people cannot handle this excitement, and as a result, they lose control of their vehicle and cause a major accident on the delivery day. Most recently, a video of one such mishap destroying a brand-new Mahindra Thar ROXX has been shared online.
Mahindra Thar ROXX delivery gone wrong
This particular video, showing a Mahindra Thar ROXX after a delivery failure, has been shared on YouTube by Prateek Singh on their channel. As per the video, this particular incident took place in Delhi’s Nirman Vihar at a Mahindra dealership. In the clip, we can note that a Mahindra Thar ROXX was parked in an upside-down position over a few motorcycles parked under a metro station.
It can be seen that the front end of this SUV was damaged, and the bikes had also suffered damage. What's interesting is that this particular Thar ROXX’s roof was still in decent shape despite it getting flipped over on its roof. A number of people were seen around the vehicle, checking it out and trying to understand how this incident took place.
What actually happened?
As per the video, a lady took delivery of this particular Mahindra Thar ROXX from the dealership. Now, as the dealership was located on the first floor, there was a hydraulic ramp in front of the glass door from which the vehicles are brought down to the ground. In this particular clip, this hydraulic ramp was covered with glass shards, and a dealership staff member was cleaning the first floor.
Reportedly, the woman who bought this SUV pushed the accelerator of her new vehicle slightly aggressively. Due to this, the vehicle smashed the glass doors of the Mahindra dealership and directly fell over the bikes parked in front under the metro station. The vehicle, in the meantime, also completely flipped over on its roof.
Were the occupants safe?
It has been mentioned in the video that there are no reports about the occupants and their condition after the crash. The creator has speculated that the lady driving the SUV might have suffered some injuries as she might not have been wearing the seatbelt due to the delivery. As for the others, no pedestrians or motorcyclists were injured due to this accident.
Not the first time
This is not the first time that we have seen a woman crash her brand-new car during delivery. Back in August of 2024, a video went viral on the internet in which a woman, immediately after taking delivery of her Maruti Suzuki Celerio, crashed it into a drain. This particular incident took place in Karwar, Karnataka.
In the viral clip, the woman was seen getting handed over the keys to her new car, and she then takes the driving seat. She then slowly starts accelerating the vehicle. However, just a few seconds later, the woman loses control of the car.
As a result, this car immediately crashes into the gate of the dealership and crosses the road. It then goes straight into a ditch that was right across the dealership. The video then shows the aftermath of this unfortunate incident.
